born n raised in marion..but mom n dad now live 6 mins from the chilhowie stadium and they are warriors thru n thru..so livin right in downtown marion makes for sum interesting talk in a few weeks..

ahh,this year things might get intresting..should be real close this year..if chilhowie finds a qb will be a dandy..

well,it has flown by once again..seems this year i had more things on my mind other than football..but still had sum fun on here as well as the games.alot of local teams werent as good as i would have hoped but the comin year proves to be another challenge.everyone have a merry christmas and a safe and happy new year..GO VOLS

congrats..growin up its all ive heard is how nobody wants to play gc..when i got to see marion play them in 94 i think,was blown away how good they were..only a few teams in this area stand out in my mind..gate city,the mid 90s thru early 00 giles teams,the mid 90s ph teams also graham ten yrs ago..man,these teams played like they were on another level.congrats to all the winners and runner ups

you guys forget sum teams..the lebanon teams , as much as i hate to say it the gw state champs..giles has had sum great teams..pulaski is in swva and until recently these guys would roll most teams...yes,i think this team will win sat but i havent saw them play so i cant say either way.

glad to see someone go over to clintwood in the snow and just blow those mtns open...richlands folks are as good as most small college teams..gate city,well..nuff said..

they will play there reguardless ..thats the only thing i really have a problem with..when its their turn to host they always want to play on their feild..which is ok but if field conditions are bad..play at wise..plus i hate the flip flop rule..its crazy..i think its unfair for one undeafted team to have home field and the other not to..should be neutral..its also very nice for the kids to play on a nice field..both teams deserve a level playing field..but it is what it is..i think this might be the team to come into clintwood then stop at salem for a shot at state.

i hate to say this but,single a ball in this area seems to be more heated..crowds are louder and fans get pumped up..but if you pay money you can do what you want.i do see your point as well..but you gotta consider,you all are use to winning..good luck
