They’re pretty good except the cold ass pizza but hot dogs not bad

Must do the same thing with pizza that we do there.  Some might like cold pizzas but me, 😝

I figure its either concessions or McDs on the way in since I know it.  Sounds like need to get there early enough for a parking spot.  If anybody is in the friendly nature stop in and say hi.  I usually try to be somewhere around the 50 yd line up high.

One of those guys doing the picking named Brian Owens from what it appears.......literally went with the Calpreps picks, literally down to the score for both teams.  Dude needs to be more autonomous.  At least change the score a couple of points or something, good grief.  I like how they do these picks.  I'm telling ya man, southwestern VA can learn so much from Northeast TN and West Virginia regarding HS football, media coverage, etc.

Don't take lessons from WVVA though.  Nobody tops them in ignoring teams in their back door on this side of the state line.

Going back and watching those games now, did creasy finish any of those? Looks like he went out for rh and grah, not watched prince yet.

He did play most of the Princeton game but I can't tell you what the stats were.  They came out flat in that game and they played like it.  I'm not making any excuse but nobody wanted that game, not sure why they scheduled it.  Princeton had some strong coverage.  Would love to see them Vs Graham (I'd be a huge G-fan in that one).  Creasy landed on his shoulder in the RH game which was injured last year.  The Graham game he had a different injury that I was told but not want to disclose it here.  I'll just say that I'd imagine he was in pain before he even took that hit.

Some other Tazewell folks on this board posted they’d be cheering for Union if it came down to Union & Graham. Thanks for supporting us if it goes our way. If doesn’t our way but goes your way, I’ll definitely support the Bulldogs against Gate City! I will always cheer for our Tazewell County teams first! If a M7 ends up in state semis, I’ll cheer for them against 2C winner!

I'll admit that is me.  It all comes down to being good winners.  I saw some very bad winners from the G fans on this board (not all) after the win.  So if Union fans show bad sportsmanship, I can swing right back over to Graham for the win.  Said it a million times and nothing is going to change, but it is hard to pull for a rival.

So far the overall Union fan chatter has been respectful and kind of like Tazewell fans.  We aren't real sure what to expect so we will wait and see what happens and just look forward to a good game.

On another note, I can assure from what I heard yesterday that they are fired up and ready for this.  Now the results may not come that they want, but they have the right attitude to start with!

I believe ole Dennis is far too old now. Wouldn't Vault be around 70? Vault could absolutely flat out coach. Talking about a damn field wizard, this guy was one of them. Look at this cat long before the cleat thing and his success.

It's really/was really a tough break for Richlands based on the events that one day in 1992 because Richlands might have had another title or two in the 90s with Vault still the coach. It's really a true /what could have been. I just dont think the younger generation on this board realizes actually how good of a coach Vault was.

Don't really have a dog in the fight as I want our streak to continue lol but valid question here.  If he is that old, has the game not passed him up?  Look at when Joe Gibbs came back, yes some immediate success but after about half a season you could tell that the game was passing him quickly.

If Union even sniffs at trying to go man, mesh them to death.  No way they are prepared for that. If they want to sit back in zone, flood zone and dink and dunk all day.  Tazewell is good at that.  And absolutely make Chandler cover space.  I would target him mercilessly.

if Union wants to blitz, have your screen game ready. Bulldog fans can argue but they were beat last year in the playoffs because RV brought pressure and had the DBs to nullify any deep threat. They didn’t truly threaten to score.  Hopefully they’ve learned from that. I’d love to see the Dogs advance.

They tried doing the same again this year and in the first quarter, RV did a good job at it.  Thankfully they adjusted and were able to make the plays.

Doesn’t hurt when your coach force feeds kids and clearly values setting records.

Try looking at the stats this year and look how much the ball is spread all over the place.

As far as last year, you have a D1 receiver, why wouldn't you get the ball to him every chance you have.  Think I have seen that comment made regarding other teams quite frequently on here.

  8. The key is going to be for Creasy to find a way to buy some time.  Ridgeview swarmed him pretty well in the first quarter then adjustments were made.  Graham had a great defense and some wrong choice on stop go routes made things look that much worse.  Again caused by not having enough time.  I'm looking quite forward to it and will just have to wait and see.  Part I dread the most is finding somewhere to park.  I remember how much fun that was the last time down there.

On a side note I'll be quite interested to see if they fixed all the things I complained about down there, everybody says they did 🙂lol
