I know the 02 Championship game was mention between Grundy and Graham but didnt see the 01 regular season game between those two at Grundy. The game went back and forth all game and in overtime Graham scores first and kicks the xp then Grundy drives in and scores and players decide to go for two and the throw goes wide right of an open grundy player.

i think the Grundy region championship game your looking for lance was in 02. Snowed for most of the game and Graham drove down for the tie with about 30 sec left and dropped the tying TD in the endzone on 4th down.

With our 8 champs and there 4 second place finishers could make for some very interesting 2nd round matches. Any clue what the bracket will look like yet?

Not for sure how region D does there tourney but if its like region 4 then well have 12 next sat. hibbitts finished 4th didnt he?

Grundy will be in the top 3, Winning is a different story. If the kids from Grundy wrestle the way they have all year i see us placing in the top 8 atleast 7 to 8 kids.(hurley,compton,elswick,smith,street,mcclahan,hankins,mcowen) All those kids have a real chance plus you could throw Cox in to the conversation also. Im not saying all these kids will place as i know that anything can happen in wrestling with inj. getting caught etc. Just think we have a solid team with a couple or a few state champs thrown in there.

If they dont have the three forf they have an even better showing. In a dual tourny of that caliber its hard to start the match down 18 if the other team has a full lineup. All in all a very good showing!

Nice two sets... its a shame you had those opens in the 9th all three games could have been around a 675 or better. Its crazy how after the set you can look back on just one or two balls and see how much it really costs you. Hopefully you can continue your success the next few weeks and get back up around 200

Thanks but its no 698 :( Dont get my wrong ill take it a set like that any time i can get it. Right now with the way my job is i only get to bowl ev, I ry other week. It seems to be working though or atleast not hurting me, I have a 202 right now but ive only got to bowl 12 games so far this season. Not for sure how long it took them to get on the ball and order the trophy but from the time i bowled it to the time i got the trophy it was almost 5 months. They should also ask you what kind of ball you used to throw the strikes, I guess its something to do with the association. None the less i hope you get your trophy faster than i got mine. Its a nice trophy though

Nice set and congrats on the 11 in a row!!!! Just fair warning though, When i got my 11 in a row last year it took like 5 months to get the trophy in becasue the association has to confirm the score and all this stuff. Had a decent set myself last nite 220+212+233=665 Just a really odd nite where the ball just doesnt feel right in your hand but made the most of it. Cant really remember what happen for the most part. lol Just know that i got lucky on a few occasions and screwed up on a few occasions also.

Nice pics lance and a really good way to support the arguement. I agree that it seems the grundy kids play on momentum a little too much but i guess thats football. Not saying the fumble would have made the outcome any different but it really could have helped. I could be wrong but i think at that point the game was 14 to 7 grundy early in the third, if they dont score there grundy atleast takes more time off the clock and kills some of there momentum.

On the 40 yard run that was called back the wr grabbed and bear hugged the cb all the way to the ground about 10 yards down field on grundys side. The pass interference call against grundy if its the one im thinking of prob. could have went either way really just depends on what the ref sees i guess. Also on the latteral i couldnt really see it from where i was at if he was out of bounds our not lance prob had a better view than me. I think the problem with that play even if he was out of bounds was the ref waited till the kid was 12 yards down field before he blew his whistle. Not making excuses but if the fumble on the 10 or so was called the correct way (which was grundy ball) then i think the game may have went a different way. You could see the grundy kid holding the ball as he was falling to the ground. IMO that was the turning point. Either way good luck to honaker the rest of the way!!!
