The game with TW was pouring rain, awful conditions and they really did have 9 fumbles and lost 7. It was ugliest game I've ever seen. The one good back TW has, busted a long one for a td and the rest was just messy. Had a chance to win and threw an int. TW then ran clock out... Mark runs whatever is needed, really nothing that is not an option. Could be spread then double right power I next play. Not sure they are still doing it but he has ran no huddle throughout his career...

I think they are good enough but that can be a problem. If they can get that first good win though, they could reel off a few. Must learn how to win games where talent is equal or close.

This seems to be a growing trend with coaches these days... Had a TW coach actually tell the kids at halftime this week that he could call offense good enough to put up 50 on anyone in Virginia if the kids would just block it right! Really no significance here but thought that was pretty funny.

Like I said, I don't know them, but confusion = slow but knowledge = speed. Even the slower guys can play fast if they do not have to think just react. Also, not sure of their scheme but maybe they were suppose to spill those inside runs out to those olb's last week rather than turn them in. That could be why those two linebackers were isolated. If not, those DE's must squeeze the play down to make a much more narrow opening so ILB's don't have huge holes to fill.

Most of the time this is due to confusion. When players understand then they will play faster just by nature. Don't know the team as all but would assume some type of defensive strategy change recently and kids are not comfortable. This is where the "kiss" (keep it simple stupid) comes from. Again, not saying anything bout these coaches, don't know then our program, just my 2 cents.
