  1. Hall on the QB sneak on 3rd and Goal.... Grundy D playin good but hurt by a couple crucial penalties. Honaker -7 Grundy - 0 3:08 left 1Q
  2. They did play a couple of times in the mid-90's but not since. I think that would have been Miller's freshman year and i thought he sat out most or all of the season with a broken arm ... maybe im wrong ... i was thinkin he didnt play until his sophmore year ... you think it was 97? I'm just tryin to figure out exactly the last year they played.

  4. I was just trying to communicate with you... words seem to just go in one side and out the other. ... but you do seem to have the face icons down!!!
  5. I have to admit it.. it did make me chuckled a lil myself!!! lol ...
  6. :D:o:):(:confused::mad::p;):rolleyes::cool::eek:
  7. #2 should def be #1!!! hilarious ...
  8. Ok wait a sec .... I think I'm confused... Grundy is the only D2 school in BDD, they aren't D1 right? Just clarifying ...Question is will they be D1 (<474) when they realign for 2013? Don't they do this every 2 years?? Sorry if I've missed somethin along the way on this one, I dont wanna repeat stuff. So if Grundy is under the cut by then, they could stay in the BDD with all the other D1 schools ... np until Haysi is no more then BDD is back to 4 football schools and 5 in all other sports...
  9. Haysi lost to Hurley Friday night> Right now Honaker controls their own position ... win out and they win the BDD ... Haysi and Grundy both have 1 loss as Haysi beat Grundy .. and Hurley beat Haysi ... If Grundy were to beat Honaker then you would have 3 teams with one loss going into the last week (Honaker @ Haysi) ... Hurley cannot win the BDD at this point as they have 2 losses (Grundy and Honaker). I think this is right ... points for the wins, a trophy, and some pride is whats at stake since the new playoff system ... how exciting would it be if the old playoff system was still in place and all 3 teams were countin on the automatic bid to make the playoffs .. ... i know this a hypothetical, but wouldn't that be interesting!!!?
  10. Honaker does have a decent team, one that is just good enough to where they should not be overlooked IMO.... Honaker has a team that probably should have beaten Battle, but give the Trojans credit where it's due... they played a heck of a ballgame ... Kudos to Battle... as far as being overrated, i didn't think they were rated very high, so i'll take your word for it bigdaddy. As far as being state title contenders, I have never said, thought, or heard anyone say that as bad i wish for that I am pretty realistic. Do yall believe in miracles??? I still think Honaker will have close games with Grundy and Haysi that could go either way. Hey redtiger this BDD is shapin up to be just like what we talked at the beginning of the season.... Showdown Honaker@Haysi to find out who wins and if Grundy beats Honaker, that game will be even more interesting .... Exciting race in the BDD this year with more than 2 teams in the hunt .. can't wait to see how it shakes out!!! Again .... CONGRATS BATTLE... I too hope this series continues for a long time, these close, excitiing games could start up a nice rivalry between these two schools!!! See you next year at Fuller Field!!!!
  11. You'll find out in 2 weeks from tomorrow!!!
  12. Well glad ya enjoyed!! .... I think the concessions are pretty daggone good too!!!!
  13. ritchie gonna hurt IMO... solid player who plays with alot of emotion it seems ... when did he get hurt ? Injury report on both??
  14. C'mon dude! .... you gotta better comeback to take up for ya boy than that... if ya dont i'm very dissappointed ... oh yeah and good luck with RHS tomorrow! Just Sayin ... ya MIGHT need it!!!:D anyway back to battle/honaker? Is everybody healthy for the Tigers?
  15. LOL ..... You wouldn't know the "facts" if they flew up your Southbound, reached out your mouth, and stamped them on your face!!! Yeah!! Tweetygirl!!! Just sayin!!!!
  16. And the winner IS????? BLUES MAN... the BiG egg shell!!!!! LOL
  17. i don't think either team is really overrated, neither are rated too high actually. Hey Falcongirl, Abingdon and Honaker played for about 6 years in a row up until last year when the series stopped ... How many times did the mighty falcons beat the Tigers??? JUST SAYIN!!!!!
  18. Haysi is sounding to be much improved all around from last year but Hurley is still not to shabby themselves, I tend to think this will be a close one until the 4th Q, but I feel like Colley finds a way to win by at least 2 TD's. I have to kind of pull for Hurley in this one from the disctrict standings standpoint (which means nothin but a trophy and a big head) ....
  19. They were using two QB's, are they still doing this? Seem to be pretty balanced offense...
  20. I believe they are 4-4 ... but that's a bit deceiving, they are a decent football team. Their losses have come to Lee, GC, Abingdon, and Burton (in which they rolled up 36 pts on the Raiders, but their D gave up 59 pts). The most impressive win was against VHS (21-6) in week 2 I think. They still have the big play capability that kept them in the game last year from what I heard, so I feel like if Honaker contains the "big play" they will be ok. These teams are pretty evenly matched I would say, with Honaker having the edge ...
  21. Heartbreaker last year on Battle Hill for the Tigers, but I think they learned a lesson last year (ya knw what i mean FNF) ... I hated to see them lose that game that way, but it happens ... I think it will be a different result this year. I like our chances!!!! I enjoy going to Battle, they have some the most polite fans! How is Battle's D this year?
  22. With some of the coaching SNAFU's around NCAAF and NFL this past weekend I was wondering: Who are some of the most enthusiastic coaches in our area that can get a team fired up!!! Any stories??
