Ryan4VT 4,557 Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 True...but unless Elswick gets better fast then i dont think he will be ready for starting QB...dont get me wrong...i would love to see fuller at WR...

Justin_Credible 10 Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 I just don't think it would be the best thing to just hold fuller at QB I think he's a better receiver then let him take a few snaps.

JakeBall 10 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 Wicks has been a force on defense this year with tackles among others but catching is a thing he would have to improve on over the summer. Only have two catches this year for 32 yards. But also has one interception this year. Â Zack Pruiett would have to be a tight end if anything next year. Because of his size and strength that would the position best suited for him. But tight ends don't really get that many passes thrown to them. Â Bradley Strong??? Â Either one of the top two would be my vote.
Rhschamps04 15 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 Well In My Humble Opinion Wicks is the best all around football player that has come through Richlands. He Can play any position on the feild QB Running Back DE and from what ive heard even kicker. He is good at every position he plays has the aggressiveness to play great on defense. A player like Wicks comes around once every 20 years or so he will be more effective next year and thats scary considering how effective he is now. TonyMontana 10 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 with the way fuller has been playing this year it would be stupid to move him to qb
BigBlueAlum 12 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 [ QUOTE ] with the way fuller has been playing this year it would be stupid to move him to qb  [/ QUOTE ]  That is true. However, without a good quarter back that can get the ball to an awesome reciever the reciever is useless. This season we have a great quarterback, that makes all of our recievers look better. BigBlueAlum 12 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 [ QUOTE ] Fuller is a really good QB too though.. Â [/ QUOTE ] Â Thats what I'm trying to say, if we don't have a good QB next season, then having great receivers is almost obsolete. However a good QB that can make good throws and decisions can make any receiver look great. But a QB that cant even make a catchable throw (no matter how good the receiver is) doesn't do a lot of good.
EH31 2,533 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 Yeah I agree, and IMO people will have to respect Austin more, because he is more of a threat to run

old_school_blue 247 Report Share Posted November 2, 2006 [ QUOTE ] Daddy will play him at the position where he can get the most publicity. Â [/ QUOTE ] Â Keep that crap off the board. If you've seen that kid play, you would know he is one of the best "athletic" players in Richlands in years. "Athletic" meaning he could play just about any position on the field and excel. 88blues 10 Report Share Posted November 2, 2006 Yeah Austin is a great athlete! People tend to look over him on defense b/c of how good he is on offense but he's great on both sides of the ball
