This is not a scare tactic. Please watch this video/audio of Barack Obama on Chicago radio...

Barack Obama proves he is for redistribution of wealth, wanting it for African Americans in his 2001 interview... He also claims it is an Adminstrative issue and that they could still do it today because it doesnt go against the constitution!

For all of you that vote on what Obama says he will do and not the way he votes, please listen.

If......again, IF.....Mr. O is elected President....how can he put his hand on the Bible and swear to uphold the Constitution of the United States.....since HE doesn't believe that it was written for the good of ALL U.S. citizens?????

He says in his own voice and states it firmly in this radio interview......"it is a constitution of "negative liberties"..... stating what the states can't do to you...what the fed. govt. can't do to you.....it DOESN'T say (all in his words) what the fed. govt. MUST do on your behalf" .

I got this in an e-mail and thought that I would share it with everyone on here. You may like it, you may not...

A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, and among other liberal ideals, was very much in favor of higher taxes to support more government programs, in other words redistribution of wealth.

She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch Republican, a feeling she openly expressed.

Based on the lectures that she had participated in, and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his.

One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher taxes on the rich and the need for more government programs. The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her father. He responded by asking how she was doing in school.

Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, and let him know that it was tough to maintain, insisting that she was taking a very difficult course load and was constantly studying, which left her no time to go out and party like other people she knew. She didn't even have time for a boyfriend, and didn't really have many college friends because she spent all her time studying.

Her father listened and then asked, 'How is your friend Audrey doing?' She replied, 'Audrey is barely getting by. All she takes are easy classes she never studies, and she barely has a 2.0 GPA. She is so popular on campus; college for her is a blast. She's always invited to all the parties and lots of times she doesn't even show up for classes because she's too hung over.'

Her wise father asked his daughter, 'Why don't you go to the Dean's office and ask him to deduct 1.0 off your GPA and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will both have a 3.0 GPA and certainly that would be a fair and equal distribution of GPA.'

The daughter, visibly shocked by her father's suggestion, angrily fired back, 'That's a crazy idea, and how would that be fair! I've worked really hard for my grades! I've invested a lot of time, and a lot of hard work! Audrey has done next to nothing toward her degree. She played while I worked my tail off!'

The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, 'Welcome to the Republican party'

Always remember.....

A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.

I saw that about a month ago...Serious question, How many of these "rich people" actually got rich on because of what they've done in life and not their parents, grandparents etc.. handing the money down?

You cannot sit there and say that "we've worked so hard for our money" when you've done nothing but gotten hand outs your entire life

just a thought.

I know a lot of people who have worked hard to earn everything they have. My boss had nothing growing up, never went to college, but he worked hard and has realized the American Dream by becoming a successful business owner who now is worth millions of dollars. He's earned everything he has and for the government to be able to "take it away" from him, or anyone else, is bullshit. That isn't the "AMERICAN DREAM".

If any of you younger kids have dreams and hopes of becoming rich and successful in life, how in the hell can you even consider voting for a Socialist to be your President??? Do any of you have a clue as to what SOCIALISM is??? It doesn't mean hitting all the bars and talking with your friends.

It means taking away what you've worked hard to earn and giving it to those who don't work, period.

You might think its a cool concept right now because you may not have much being in college but wait until you graduate, land a nice job, want to have nice home and nice cars, with maybe a boat at the lake, or a vacation home at the beach, or start a family, or save for your children's future, etc.... Do you want the government to take the money you've worked your ass off to earn and give it to someone else who doens't contribute to society? Not NO, but HELL NO!!!

Once again, I have to say it...IF YOU LOVE AMERICA, DON'T VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO HATES AMERICA!!!

Dang, a week ago I was dead set on voting for Obama. But you all have done your jobs. I'm not sure now.

I just cant stand the thought of McCain being the president for the next 4-8 years, and even worse Sara Palin as VP. But I do agree with you all that the redistribution of wealth is a bunch of crap. But right now with Obama I get a tax cut, and with McCain's plan I will not get a break and all the rich people will...how is that fair either. I work my butt off right now for what I have, at two jobs. I don't need government handouts, I make more than enough money for my wife and I, but I'm not rich by any means. I'm not sure if you all measure the amount of work done by the amount of money made, it doesn't always work that way. There are a lot of people that work very hard and can never get things going in their favor. Why shouldn't they get a break as well?

Sure, right now you may get a tax cut with Obama. But wait until next year when he and his Democrat-laden Congress raise your taxes. The government will get that tax cut plus back out of your pocket. I wouldn't consider it a "tax cut", just a high interest loan from the government you'll be paying back for a long time...

The only thing worse for America at this historically difficult economic time than McCain/Palin for the next four years is an Obama reign of terror for the next four years. Obama keeps talking "change", well, if he's elected there will be change and it won't be for the better...and "change" may be the only thing you have left in your pocket...right now you may make "more than enough money" for you and your wife but wait until Obama's socialism takes that "more" away...and don't think it won't happen...

This election isn't just about "right now", its about our future and our children's future...

I think Gman said it right, when you vote don't just think about what is best for you right now at this moment, think about your family and what is best for your kids in high school that will be in the real world in a couple of years. (well i had this written before i saw Gman's post above me it was just sitting here for awhile i was thinking the exact same thing Gman)

I see what you're saying. But no one knows what is going to happen in the coming years. I just hate the thought of these big corporations getting more money in their pockets while I'm not. I know that sounds selfish, but you have to worry about yourself sometime. I know the idea is that these companies will create more jobs with the money they are saving in taxes, but that means you have to put your trust in the heads of these companies, and we all see what the greed of these companies have done to America with the current economic crisis. I don't feel comfortable voting for either of these fools.

But with Obama, you're still not going to get anymore money in your pocket. And after he raises your taxes too, you'll have even less money in your pocket.

I'm not crazy about either of these candidates myself and as I said earlier, its a choice between the lesser of two evils. And right now, that choice has to be McCain if you want to continue living in an America like we've known for the last 232 years...otherwise we will become the U.S.S.A...the United Socialist States of America...

Rocks, I want to say you are a very well spoken young man (most of the time...ha-ha) however, the above example IMO is the "super rich". To me that's the Waltons (Walmart), Bill Gates (who did not get it handed down), the Rockefellers and others that had something "special" to offer as this country was starting to really develop.

In Obama's plan, rich was initially 250,000.....then it dropped to 200,000 , Biden said 150,000 and just yest. Bill Richardson said 120,000. Biden said it was "patriotic" to pay MORE taxes, Obama just said in the past few days....it's "selfishness" if you do not want to basically share the wealth....meaning more taxes.

If the country is in financial stress now.....which we all agree....and both sides are to blame.....with ALL of this bailout (supported by both sides) coming from the govt. that gets its money from the taxpayers.....TAXES currently CANNOT go up anymore.

If 40% of the ppl do not pay taxes....... and 10% in the upper tax bracket already pay over 70% of the total taxes collected.....where do you think this will leave the "middle class"......we will be paying more taxes I fear.

I admit I'm not an economist, a CPA or a mathematician.....but if it "sounds to good to be true" .....well, we all know the rest of that adage.

Just take your medicine....it doesn't really taste bad and you'll feel much better....for some reason, I'm having a hard time swallowing that medicine.

I could be all wrong about this but my heart, my gut feeling says I'm not....but, everyone has to make up their own mind and thank the Lord we have the freedom today to vote however, we believe.

At least with McCain, you'll have the opportunity to make money and become rich and successful in life without it being taken away from you by the government and given to the freeloaders that feel entitled to a government handout...

it really doesn't even matter if someone did have their wealth handed down from family anyhow, even though that's not the case with many people who have wealth, the fact is it's still their wealth, and not the governments or anyone elses. No one had a right to your alls parents hard earned $s did they?

Don't you all realize that the idea of redistribution puts a limit on what you'll potentially earn or have someday, do you enjoy the concept of going to school, or working hard knowing that if you're eventually successful enough you're going to be sharing that with people who don't work or aren't putting forth an effort to earn what you are? You would put an effort into a masters degree for example knowing it can only take you so far, or that other people will be reaping the benefits of your hard earned masters degree?

Anyhow, there's simply so much wrong with obama I often don't really know where to start. Financially though, peopel have it really backwards, a tax break or handout won't do much when the cost of living goes way up even more and big corporations pass on the costs of their tax increases to American consumers.

You have to realize, social programs cost $s to, how would all of these programs be funded?

What about obama's plan to have a civilian security force? Something I've never even seen mentioned here on swva message boards, you know, the u.s. civilian brown shirt force that he wants to be as strong and as well funded as the u.s. military? What's the u.s. defense budget? 300 some billion per year? Who's going to pay for that and all of these other program's he's talking about, and exactly what does obama and the government need with a civilian military, and who would you use it against?

People if you can't see the writing on the wall.......

Here's 1 last though,t people talk about the economic situation, do you all not realize that government has increased in size significantly in the last 8 years? I don't know how much of that is because of homeland security or whatever, unfortunately it happened under bush, but folks, republicans democrats alike are all for bigger government, all politicans are, and much of the economic situation is because of the increase in the size of the government.

If the u.s. government had it's way they would regulate every possible aspect of our lives, democrats and republicans alike.

All of these social programs and regulation would only increase government tenfold than it has in the last 8 years, the country will be in a much bigger and much worse situation than ever, but of course under obama's programs that will be irrelevant because all will have their ration of enough to get by with because government will be there to provide for us all. 1 big mess of a dependant welfare society with government in charge. I don't want that, that is not America and it's not what America was ever intended to be like, and noone else should want that either, except the extremely lazy and those lacking any ambition.

Government for the people, by the people, not government of the people.

Obama wants to take care of you, he'll do for you instead of you doing for yourself..

Unfortunately it might take 4 years of socialism for America to realize how bad socialism is and how much they don't want it. Sometimes you have to experience something bad to learn from it and fear it.

what's bad about palin anyhow, she's a very right sitting conservative from a very conservative state that is 1 of the more free and most independant states in America, I'd think people in these areas would appreciate that.

Not everyone from this area thinks the same way.

granted, so an honest question, is it an accurate assumption that those who don't have much respect for palin have a lot more resepect for the opposite, such as a big city liberal such as hillary clinton? Only a ?

It isn't that I don't respect her. My reasons for not liking Palin isn't so much her policy but more the way she comes across on TV. Something about her just rubs me the wrong way.
