SWVAFB 218 Report Share Posted August 20, 2011 I heard Dwags won 22-13 over Chilhowie....is that right???? I said Tazewell had improved, and Chilhowie was rebuilding.

Brett Johnson is good but he's not good enough to win it by himself. As I said, our line is our weakspot. Clearly showed tonight. 22-13 is right. SWVAFB 218 Report Share Posted August 20, 2011 Chilhowie will be lucky to go 3-7 this year with GW, Marion, Fort Chiswell VA High, Abingdon, Grayson Co, & Rural Retreat to deal with. Their only wins MAYBE will be with Holston, PH & Northwood........otherwise the Warriors are looking at a 0-10 year..................OUCH !!!!!! SWVAFB 218 Report Share Posted August 20, 2011 CHS does not put their BEST 11 Players on the field any year, and in the right positions....Maybe they can win more than 3, but if Tazewell handled them, I just can't see them beating GW, Marion, The Fort, Abingdon, Grayson Co, RR and VA High.....just my thoughts.....Maybe I am crazy, but with their schedule which one of the 7 teams I think they will lose to will they beat ???? Tazewell looked good at times last, and as always the defense is always ahead of the offense this time of year... Dawgs were a little sloppy at times, if they can work on those thing it could turn out to a good season for them... And I like the fact that the coached stayed on the boys all nite to hustle till the final horn... Hell the coach was even running around... I like that! Good Luck Dawgs! No. He's a "Warrior fan" or rather a bleacher coach with no credentials.

frito gonzales 103 Report Share Posted August 20, 2011 Tazewell looked like a different team in the second half. If Tazewell's o-line can get off the snap a little quicker they will be much better on offense IMO. They have some good athletes and the coaching looked to be much improved as well. Tate has a ton of enthusiasm and looks like the right guy to get the Bulldogs going in the right direction.
redtiger 1,742 Report Share Posted August 20, 2011 (edited) Tazewell did look pretty good on O! I like the 3 wide shotgun(much more versitle running game than a 4 wide look) and really helps in pass protection. Looks as though the coach at Tazewell is doing his own thing instead of going w/ trends Edited August 20, 2011 by redtiger

robtom 18 Report Share Posted August 21, 2011 I heard that Coach Tate had a WVU guy at the field house last Sunday to talk with the staff on Defense. Any truth to this rumor? And if so, who was it?
