I assume that Reed would rather get some work in vs GC. Not 100% but the first scrimmage for GC may be facing Pulaski. Central was a part of that last year. The Jamboree will likely be at VA High again. It makes sense to not scrimmage Burton anymore though as they will not be in our distric anymore Gate City, Central, and Pulaski at Pulaski last year for first scrimmage.
