sixcat 2,937 Report Share Posted September 29, 2013 The search for a new coach will be interesting to watch develop! Jesse Palmer called Chip Kelly the frontrunner on Colin's New Football Show this morning on ESPN. If his offense continues to regress in the NFL, he may pull a Saban and bolt back to the college level. Kelly at USC with that offense, his recruiting ability and the money they put into the program will be hard to turn down.
blueinbama 259 Report Share Posted September 29, 2013 The names being thrown around are some of the usual names we hear every time an elite job comes open, along with some new ones: Chris Peterson Kirby Smart Rich Rod Bobby Petrino Jack Del Rio Pat Fitzgerald James Franklin Tim DeRuyter Steve Sarkisian Kevin Sumlin I don't see Chip Kelley pulling a Spurrier or a Petrino or a Holtz or an Ericson and bolting back to college football. Hacker 82 Report Share Posted September 29, 2013 I expect that the next coach will be a no nonsense, buttoned down type with a clean reputation. Pat Haden will hire someone in his own image.

Pat Haden will hire someone in his own image. Haden's image has done a 180 since he left the NFL. He was egotistical and a whiny SOB with the Rams.
