SWVAgridiron 1,469 Report Share Posted November 4, 2017 Completely off topic but has anyone noticed that Appomattox has only played 3 teams that are better than .500? The lost to (9-1)Heritage, beat (8-2)WC pretty bad and (8-2)Gretna kept it close until the 4th. But they won't just cruise thru Region C like last year, Giles and Glenvar can be competitive. People say Martinsville is getting better each week, if they don't lose big maybe Appo is beatable. I love watching film and I’ve watched a fair bit on Appo. True, I haven’t seen Appo play live, but the film and results say a bit. They’re good. A definite title contender. Union started great but had a long TD called back on a bad holding call and the wheels just completely fell off. They were a juggernaut. Wellll according to VA Preps Appomattox is already in the state championship and I mean yea I understand they are the team to beat right now but I'm not as impressed with them this season as last. Everyone from union has discussed how great they were etc etc etc but those guys on preps make them seem completely different. I guess that's everywhere though.
