Any combo fields in SWVA?

Any football played on combination football/baseball fields? There used to be four out this way but that number is two with one simply being played on the baseball outfield. At the other he visitor's sideline is part of the dirt infield but that may no longer be the case as that particular facility is no longer used for baseball.

Appalachia always played on same field and practiced on it.  Set up for some muddy November playoff games

Appy was different bunch man.  Different bunch.  Still the most impressive historical school in the coverage area in my opinion only based on what they did, that success, with that few.  To pull up on a bus at GC in full pads 10 minutes before kickoff, go on the field and win, then don't even huddle up at the end of the game and just gets on the bus and goes home.  That's awesome.  It's different, but it's cool.

Good thing they never had a flat tire or might’ve been late to the game lol!!!

It no longer fits this discription but Ragsdale Field in Narrows used to be such a field.  Was the baseball home field of the New River Rebels, Chicago White Sox affiliate, Appalachian League team back in the late 40's.

It must be tough playing football for Marion knowing that if you were a once in a generation football talent, equal to an Ahmad Bradshaw, Thomas Jones, or even maybe Bill Dudley, you'll never be the best athlete to play home games at that football stadium just because of the damn baseball diamond in the east endzone.
