Lil’ Leonard’s Losers:

Well folks this season has already stated off with a couple of Trophies being claimed, The Buzzard’s Roost Trophy and The Lemonade Trophy. Last week the Honaker Tigers reclaimed the Buzzard’s Roost from the Lebanon Chipmunk Hunters with a thumpin’ victory over Castlewood. This next Trophy, renamed by Cousins Delbert and Claude, The Lemonade Trophy was claimed by the Princeton Tigers. Princeton claims the Trophy over The Revenuers by out pointing them using the FIFA Kickball scoring system since they don’t always play each other but both play the Flattails. If any of you all are wondering why they named it the Lemonade Trophy, well rumor has it that Coach Simon Says is starting to get more heat than it takes to get a few cup of lemonade in Bluefield. Let’s pick us some losers.

Radford @ Virginia High

The #1 team in Uncle Percy’s Biggest Losers Poll will be hosting the Radford Bobcats. We don’t know much about these BobCats except what we read posted on here by That other Cat, Sixcat and the rest of the C Litter. Uncle Percy says that Radford is usual a tough cat to scratch. So far this season the Pole Cats of VHigh have been stinking things up and it doesn’t get any better in the coming weeks. Last week they barely got by a bunch of broken down Chariot Riders. This week they are getting into a cat fight that they really don’t want to be in. There’s not Vets in Bristol to help this bunch of cats.

The Pole Cats

Footnote: Pole Cats, you still have Jenkins, Ky to look forward to.

Abington @ Gate City

The Blue Buzzards are taking flight over Moccasin Gap to take on Young Coach “Hoss” Wright’s Blue Devils this weekend. The way the Blue Devils have started this season looks like Young Coach “Hoss” Wright and some of the Older Devils have spent some serious time sharpening’ the pitchforks. Last week they took the sting out of some mean Kentucky Yellow Jackets. Last week the Blue Buzzards, wait a minute, they’re playing back to back Blue Meanies.  Oh well, if Abington wants to tangle with Blue Demons and Blue Devils they better schedule The Castlewood Blue Devils. They definitely don’t have anything for these Devils.

The Blue Buzzards

Richlands @ Tazewell

The Big Blue Win or rather The Big Blue Fizzle Machine is traveling up the Clinch River to take on the Tazewell Bulldogs for the Jewel of the Clinch Trophy tonight. I swear Cousins Delbert and Claude have gotten onto some kind of Trophy kick or bad brew. The Blue Fizzlers have started this season bad. Some of  the Blues fans are suffering more than just the Blues. The Bulldogs tangled with a bunch of pissed off Russell Crowes last week and ended up with a big spankin’ and an injured QB. We don’t know if their QB will be at 100% this week or not but the Shortleg Dogs still have a lot speed and that could cause the Blue Fizzlers a lot of trouble. The Blue Fizzlers best hope to put out a win tonight is lots of rain. However, the Fizzlers’ fans will have a lot more to cry about than singin’ the Blues.

The Big Blue Fizzle Machine

Honaker @ Rye Cove

This is just the 3rd week of the season but this a big game with potential big playoff points. We could very well see a rematch of these two teams in November. The high flying Eagles have yet to be scored upon this season and the Tigers are averaging 56 points a game. Interesting. Both have played weaker teams thus far, we really don’t know how good the Lebanon Chipmunk Hunters are yet and this will be the first major test for both of these teams. The Eagles have the Home Field Advantage but the Tigers may have the edge in talent.

In a close one, Rye Cove

Honaker and Radford won. Doesn’t Tazewell resume Monday @ 7:00?

Uncle Percy said to put it this way. Then you might understand.

Rye Cove lost in a close one.

VA High Pole Cats stunk things up 3 - 43.

Someone said Tazewell/Richlands resumes Monday @ 7:00.

Cousin Claude thinks you’re one of those Union experts like BigWinners.
