They have multiple criteria on how they do it. The order is: Winning percentage Number of wins 2023 VHSL Girls Championship finishing place Record vs. girls this season The 1 seed in that bracket is like 32-6 to Portia's 25-11. Those two have the most wins in that bracket -- but there are several girls who are 10-2 or 12-5 (for example) that got seeded higher by percentages. She'll be a threat to make the semi's from that 10 seed for sure. She's a helluva wrestler. Quote

I know track has auto seeds but it could be done better Quote
Ryan4VT Posted February 25, 2024 Author Report Posted February 25, 2024 Congrats to our super 6 from SWVA who finished on the podium and earned All-State honors!! This tournament is different from the boys — there are no classes. In some brackets there were upwards of 50 ladies battling it out, and to stand on the podium is one helluva achievement. Grayson Co.: 145 - Isabella Hill - State Champion John Battle: 120 - Kari Streit - 5th place Lebanon: 114 - Portia Campbell - 3rd Radford: 152 - Margaret Paige - 3rd Richlands: 126 - Kendi Dye - 6th Union: 145 - Kyndal Satterfield - 4th GilesBandanaMan and Account Deleted 1 1 Quote
