Those kids move up to HS and are forced to play in 9th and 10th grade, get pounded on by bigger teams, the kids get frustrated and don't play when they become 11th and 12th graders and then Tazewell is forced to play young kids again who end up getting their butts kicked week in and week out, etc., etc.... In 2001, Graham surprised everyone with the spread offense, but remember that they had Paco Jones, Reed Oakes, H.T. Mathews, Ahmad Bradshaw and company to run that offense. Since that time, they have not continued to run it. It will not work if you do not have the thoroughbreds to do so. 1984Blue 10 Report Share Posted September 28, 2007 Seems like everyone is counting Tazewell out. No matter what kind of year Tazewell is having you can never count them out. You never know what is going to happen when Richlands and Tazewell play each other. There have been upsets over the years by both teams when they have faced each other.
