New district for George Wythe this coming year should be exciting. Was wondering what teams are returning some starters that will help them make a march into the playoffs. What are your top four teams?

I want to wish Richlands good luck this Saturday. We have a great relationship with those guys over there. I think they beat Stuarts Draft. Think it would be a great story if both Richlands and George Wythe make it to Salem.

I believe GW coaches will not let this get too out of hand. Remember win with class, lose with class. No matter the opponent always show class.

There are several quality football teams in !A this year. Not much has been said about Sussex? What type of offense/defense do they run?

Master shaster, it is one thing to be a fan, but a whole totally different one to be an arrogant one. Yes, George Wythe has a quality team this year and we do have high expectations. But this team does not have to be the best team in the state each week. No, we just have to be the best team that day. We are all about getting better and enjoying the process. The talk that you put on the two boards is really atrocious. Do you realize that we've only had 2 JV games this year? No one has had the numbers to play us. So on the other board when you are talking about quarters, you have no clue of what is going on. Again, you don't represent George Wythe Football. Get your facts first before you speak. George Wythe will go on with or without you.

Chilhowie is playing with a lot of confidence. It will be interesting to see how they handle GW this week. Most of the time, GW steps up to the challenge.

Galax will win this one by two tds.

Coach Dixon is a good coach but George Wythe has a good one as well. Coach Harner is 24-6 in his young career. GW lost 8 starters on offense going into last year. Coach Harner played Sophomores and Juniors on that side of the ball and went 12-2. This year GW replaced 8 on defense and he is 3-0. Wytheville is glad to have Coach Harner. He's a good one.

I've heard that some teams are playing tonight due to the Battle of Bristol.

Walker Nowers will do a great job at QB. The Maroons will rally around him. That's what good teams do.

I think it makes Galax more lethal if he doesn't allow the suspended player back. That puts the Brown kid at QB who is a much better athlete.
