This is where I am. Graham is a nightmare matchup for Radford, as Radford has had problems at times containing downfield passing attacks with dynamic athletes. Anything can happen, but Graham should be favored.
As for East Rockingham, I seem to remember a lot of the same comparisons made about King George in 1995...

Graham *should* beat Radford. But East Rockingham would be a 10-14 point favorite over Graham in my opinion. I thought Appomattox would beat Radford Handily though. So who knows.
What about the line? I'm hearing it will be a little small.
From what I’ve seen it will be your typical union line. Nothing incredibly huge, but can hold its own. Trevor Wagner will be back along with Carson Ray. I may be missing another but I don’t think so. The JV line played very well this year. Take that for what it’s worth.
Defense should be good next year with some returnees but I think next year unfortunately will be a down year not because of talent but because we'll be very young. Look to see a lot of sophomores in the staring lineup.
They are very young and there will be moments where the youth shows. There will also be some moments that make you go “wow.” Andy Jones at QB can straight up sling it. Reminds me a lot of John Luke Asbury from Richlands. The backfield will be very, very strong aswell.
If Graham can beat regional championship demons, what realistically are their chances of beating either Appo or Radford to get to the state championship? I truthfully only know what's mentioned on this forum about those two teams this year.
Pretty much summed up Unions year. The defense gave them chances to be in the game, and when you really dive into it, if Union had ANY offense going whatsoever they have a chance to make it interesting. But the offense was nowhere to be found. The frustrating part is that everyone knows why the offense was so bad this season, yet nothing was done to change it.
Cam Allen was impressive. Took the crazy environment and really handled it well. Good luck to the Gmen.

I’m a bit hesitant about having this conversation solely by records alone. Especially with for example a 5-6 LCC, or an 11-3 Shelby Valley. Etc. I don’t think those are very good teams in Virginia 2A competition. On the contrary, a 3-7 Morristown West team, even though they are down in comparison to their classification, would do very well up here.
Hammertime - Graham will not only have the best 3 players on the field but probably the best 6 or 7. You may not recall but Devin Lester had turf toe and a broke hand at last year’s game. Cam Allen you know that Perdue Commit he’s the real deal he the closest thing you’ll see to your James Mitchell caliber player.
