I agree with this. Play the Bluefield game at Mitchell each year and the rest at Grahams new stadium ( if that is ever built). Work out some sort of deal with Bluefield High School regarding the gate each year. Graham could sit on the visitors side for that game, like they used to do for so many years.
Just let Bluefield be the home team every year. The stadium rent is covered in their lease.
When I was in school we lived on Augusta Street. We just walked. When I was older and lived a little further I rode my bike and chained it to the fence. But the police also had their act together. Before the game Stadium Drive was made one way. Everyone had to enter at Bluefield College. They had to park their cars pointing towards the youth center. Everyone had to exit by going up Stadium Drive. Virginia tags went down Ferndale and WV tags went on to Cherry Street. Wasn't a quick entrance or exit but it was faster than it is now.
As far as Narrows goes, don't know the dates outside of the ones already announced from others but the games we don't have locked down dates released for yet are the games with Auburn and James Monroe in non-district and the rest of the district slate of East Mont, Craig, and Parry McCluer. I would think Auburn is week 1 as it has been for years.
Where will the James Monroe - Narrows game be? On a side note. James Monroe is 15-0 vs Narrows.
I have seen Auburn and Twin Valley on schedules. I don't remember seeing Bland on any schedules. Craig is on Bath County's schedule. I am still looking for Narrows, Eastern Montgomery, Parry McCluer, and Galax' schedules.
I think it may be legit. I got the Virginia High schedule off of HUDL. Just this morning I verified with Marion that they are playing Grundy Oct 20th. PERHAPS Va High thought that they were playing Grundy and found out late that they weren't and had to find another opponent?
Turf approved for all 3 Tazewell County Schools.
