Not sure how the second half will play out but I’m proud of the Spartans effort this first half. Trailing 7-0 with 1 minute left in the half. Offense drove down inside the 10 once but ended with no points and now they’re back in the redzone again.

I just wonder if Giles even attempted to fight it. With it being a playoff game I figured the VHSL would have some say so. They’re automatically going to lose money because turn out will not be as high as a Friday night game.

Heard from a reliable source that Giles and Grayson will be playing tomorrow. I guess any other schedule changes can be posted under this thread. Slight chance of rain and Grayson has a turf field so I’m not sure the reason for change.

I don’t know much about Ridgeview but if they have any type of run game they should still be able to score points as the Dawg’s run defense struggles. May be a back and forth game that comes down to the last drive. Believe it or not I’m pulling for Tazewell. Only because I know what they’ll have to face the following week. Hopefully their superintendent makes the trip to BSG to see how fun an atmosphere is when you’re actually allowed to make noise.

About like Galax and Riverheads in the 2015 state championship game. Fastest game I’ve ever witnessed. I had to kill a lot of time after that game to wait for the 2A game to be played

I do see their frustration. Undefeated and dominated JM when the 2 played. JM tried finding a 10th game but no one was available so you can’t blame them. Just how the system works.
