Didn't make the trip to the basketball game last year? Anyways, Ridgeview needs to quit depending on the sweep to the left, sweep to the right, run up the middle crap. It's not working. I've never longed for the Colley air raid attack more than I do right now. With each passing week I hear more groans in the stands in agreement, not just from fans who used to wear red either. Credit where credit is due, Paintsville is an amazing team and I'd put them up against anyone in deep SWVA, but when something isn't working, try something else.

Yes I speak to Dan River's Stats guy via Twitter pretty much on a weekly basis. They only have 9 games. Power points wise, the VHSL will consider Bartlett Yancey a win by forfeit for Dan River, meaning any wins by B-Y also gets Dan River two bonus power points.

I loved this game. I know as a Ridgeview supporter, I wouldn't want to see either team across from me in the bracket in the playoffs. Who does Graham have left on their schedule as possible losses that is making you think 7-3 SWVAGridiron? I know they still have Galax, Giles and Abingdon left if I'm not mistaken. All three of those are ? marks I would think.

After last night, I believe is is now 70-27-3 in favor of Tennessee High.

I was going to throw that out there too but figured I would get blasted with the "THAT GAME WAS TWO YEARS AGO" crap. Appy State actually won the Sun Belt in 2014 also, although they were bowl ineligible because of being a new member to FBS.

I'm not so sure if Tennessee overlooked Appy State or if Appy State is really good. They have their biggest game in school history a week from Saturday when the Hurricanes come rolling into Boone.

I don't have a dog in the fight, but it is very unique and awesome that two schools hook it up tomorrow night for the 100th time. Is it just me, or do the Bearcats actually have a decent chance to knock off the Tennessee High Vikings inside the Stone Castle this season? It seems as if Tennessee High is struggling, while Virginia High is 2-0.

I was thinking that the Grundy @ Lebanon game was also tomorrow. Also, as far as I know Paintsville @ Ridgeview is still a Friday game. Also, I am quite shocked Emory and UVa-Wise didn't move up to a Thursday night game. I know they are playing earlier on Saturday than normal (noon kickoff for both I think)... but still with traffic volume expected to be a nightmare this weekend, it would be difficult for someone who supports Emory or Wise who also had a Battle at Bristol ticket to make two games Saturday.
