  1. Don't get me wrong, after last Friday and dealing with rude classless Helltopper folk, I'd love nothing more than for a little 2A school from SWVA to shut up an upper class entitled bunch of jackasses. The likelihood of that happening though is slim at best. Lol
  2. I mean.... he ain't wrong. Lol Just for that, I hope Gatlinburg-Pittman stomps a mudhole in it for you tonight... Lol
  3. Tennessee classifications are broken down evenly, to where each class has the same number of teams. I think in football there are around 65 or so in all 6 classes. 65 in 1A, 65 in 2A and so on and so on. That's why Union fans got confused on their power points for several years there beating up on (at the time) 6A Morristown West. Even though they were 6A in Tennessee, they only would've classified as a 4A in Virginia, so Union only got 4A power points for beating them. Now, if the rumors are true, the next two years Union will be playing a legit 6A in Science Hill.
  4. The only Saturday games will be the three state title games that are on Saturday. This year I believe that's 2A, 4A and 6A.
  5. There's only four teams in Region 1-2A, so all four are in the playoffs before the opening game kickoff even occurs.
  6. Hope you're right. I'm not as confident as you. Said as much over on coach T and got blasted for it. Just the way they lost to the HellToppers last week threw the whole season up in flames in my opinion. Not sure if they'll recover from it.
  7. This was the person I was speaking of... wouldn't going to mention names. Lol, but yes, you hit the nail on the head and those were just some of the tweets I was referring to.
  8. Someone from the school board was questioning Tiller all season last season on Twitter. Not sure what role she has in the school system, but she let it be known all year last year she didn't like him. My opinion is they were head hunting from the get go.
  9. Lol. 2-0 in the all time coaching matchup. I guess you got me on that one. But looking it up on Four Seasons, wasn't that 2005 semifinal at Sandlick? Not Pearisburg @Bluefield researcher? I missed that game because I got married to my first wife that very day. Big mistake that was. Lol
  10. I think Ridgeview wins its first outright district title next week. And that's as far as I will go with it, since both on here and on the Tennessee message board I've ruffled some feathers in the last 24 hours with "real talk".
  11. Seen a friend of mine post on Facebook last night about a situation near the end of the game about Bluefield cops and Ridgeview personnel getting into a heated discussion? What was that all about? Anywho, the poster was encouraging everyone to call Bluefield police chief and raise hell. What good that will do? I'm expecting get a few laughs out of the police chief... Lol
  12. I was honestly expecting the Hurley win over Montcalm to move them further up. Who do they have in the final week? Would be cool to see 3 BDD teams make it. edit: My schedule showed Twin Valley, which isn't happening obviously. Did they pick up a replacement?
  13. Ridgeview is overrated. All that talent and no coaching. The one who should be leading them is in Honaker now. The Pack are getting what they deserve for running off Tiller. Wouldn't be shocked at all to see them one and done.
  14. Some more breaking news from a friend of mine who follows Crockett... the starting running back Jaevon Emile has left the team and the starting QB is sitting tonight for rest.
  15. I think it depends on if Crockett rests the starters tonight. As @Ryan4VT mentioned, thanks to my insight I gave him earlier in the week, Crockett already has their playoff seed and know they have to make the trip down to Knoxville West next Friday. Knox West is perhaps the best public school team in Tennessee regardless of classification. They've already beaten Bearden, Farragut, Alcoa and Maryville this season. I could see Crockett resting players tonight to ensure they have all the firepower available for next week. Richlands has something to play for as a win here would all but lock up a playoff spot I believe. I think Richlands has better than a puncher's chance to win this one.
  16. I honestly have never been to a game in WV other than Graham, but those are AOA officials obviously. I used to go to every Haysi game, but skipped the Tug Valley game in 2014 because I thought we'd win handily. When we lost in double OT, I was told it was "those damn WV refs". Lol. As I mentioned, Richlands folks have a beef with the refs it seems like every time they play Bluefield at Mitchell, so there's that.
  17. Reading through all of this, I'm glad of one thing... Thank God I moved to Tennessee where making the playoffs is as simple as finishing in the top 4 in your conference... Lol
  18. Couple of things: 1. I'm not sure how WV playoff point system works... is Bluefield on life support for a playoff spot? If so, Bluefield wins. 2. Are the WV refs as bad as Richlands folks have said they are in the past when Richlands plays Beaver? If so, Bluefield wins. I'm thinking at least one if not both bullet points are accurate, so I say Bluefield wins.
  19. You won't have to wait till they play Graham at Mitchell to see them lose in Bluefield... it's going to happen next Friday.
  20. Pulaski County lost to a not very good Tennessee High team. I figured Graham would have their way with them.
  21. This Lebanon quarterback can sling it around the yard for sure. Problem is he ain't got anyone who can catch it.
