Unfortunately I’m not going to be able attend the Hurley/ Ph game today. Will this game be covered on NFHS? It shows it on there but didn’t know if it would be on there where it’s a different field

One of the school board members just posted on fb that the repairs will start in the morning and will back in 6 months or less. So we’re not losing our school yet

Hurley was supposed to attend, but pulled out due to the passing of one of their former star players

His wife graduated pharmacy school and he is going back to where she is from to go to work is what we heard

I like Hurleys chances in this one. Defense has been playing lights out, holding Grundy to 6pts and Northwood to 47 yards total offense and the shutout. They been mixing it good with the play calling and seems like nobody knows who’s getting the ball with several different ball carriers. I say Hurley takes it in a close one

I’ve seen both teams play now and have to give the edge to Hurley’s line. I think speed wise Hurley has the speed to keep Grundys RB in check. What’s everyone’s take in the Buchanan Co bowl this year??

What’s everybody’s take on this one. Know nothing about RC. Hurley had a good showing in their opener. Offense had a new look and was mixing it up well. Defense was pretty solid too. Still lots to clean up but lots of positives to build off of and looking like a solid team.

He will be something special in another 3 years

Better team won. Congrats Bulldogs. That #3 is a great player, fast and good vision. I thought it woul be at least respectable but it wasn’t. Side note, both teams played with respect, didn’t see anybody getting chippy or anything out of the way from eitheir side in the stands or on the field

Been thinking of how to reply to this and get my opinion across respectfully. These comments go beyond football and insult the community of Hurley as whole as well my friends and family. I know a lot of those kids on that team and they are good kids from good families. The whole community is behind them and support them fully. Some fans take that passion a lil overboard I agree, but what program doesn’t have that? To assume that any of these players would try to intentionally hurt any of your guys and play dirty just because there from Hurley, is about as the same as me to assume that all Tazwell fans are as aggorant and narrow minded as you, which I do not because I have friends from the Tazewell community as well. We are a extremely small school in a very rural area and do the best that we can. With that being said I agree we are out manned and I’m not one those fans that think my team walks on water. Taz will most likely win this one, but rest assured they will be hitting hard and it won’t be the cake walk you assume it will be, Taz is most likely 2-3 tds better. But one day the time will come roles are reversed and when they day comes I hope they hang a 100 on ya because of these comments and this attitude.

Depends on which Hurley team shows up. If they can avoid the costly turnovers and penalties and not play behind the sticks, I think they can make a game of it. Don’t think it will be 30+ neither. Defense has been playing pretty good. And it’s at home, which is always advantage at the cliff. And why wouldn’t you make it out there healthy??

Wasn't my intent, I was gearing more toward the appeals process. If you said it was overturned I was going to ask about that

I assure you people if color would be treated no different. It's a battle flag, not I hate you because you look different flag. Most people are intimidated by the remoteness of our lil community not the people. Yes I can read, and you insist your comments were not about the people. But come over and spend some time and you will find some of the best people you ever met. Some fans are overzealous but that's in every fan base everywhere.

I was there he was not fighting. He may have said something I don't know but I know the kid and he's very humble and not his style. Looked like a lot of jaw jacking on both sides from the stands but you really can't tell for sure. I did see a few excessive celebrations that weren't called (my opinion) but were called on the other side. But to the original question did the coach sit a game or was it overturned through the appeals process?? What's fair for one is fair for all

My question is and seriously no trying to start any arguments. If he has to miss 2 games over a ejection, why didn't Hubbard when he was threw out at the Grundy game?? Serious question not trying to incite a war here
