Lebanon has more weapons IF Grundy's Right Tackle, Right Guard, Center, Left Tackle, Left Guard, and Tight End aren't considered weapons.

They are weapons in the same way a group of bulldozers are. They will run you over so the RB can hit your lbs in the mouth lol. I gotta go Grundy here Lebanon can sling it and Grundy can be best over the top. But Lebanon isn't stopping that RB the guy is the truth lol.

  2. Grundy wins D unless PH can completely stop the run game. Scammell is the truth that boy will run you flat over and ask if you want seconds. And for anyone thinking Grundy might win D but won't compete against Cs winner you're wrong. I could easily see them representing the West in Salem. I think GW, Galax and Grundy all 3 are capable of beating each other on any given night. It will all come down to who shows up and who wants it more and currently I think Grundy wants it more. And lets not forget Grayson will have something to say about all this.

George Wythe has not held up well to a team that pounds the ball in the past. They have struggled against Galax every year. I think the game to watch will be GW and Grayson as they mirror each other . Both like to throw and try to catch you with quick hitters.

That is true in the past few seasons we have definitely struggled with pound the rock teams. I think this year's team is much improved in that area we have some studs up front on both sides. We're not as big up front as we normally are but they get after it and are quick. So we shall see Friday if GW can slow Grundys run game down I think we can but we'll see. And yes the GW vs Grayson game has me very interested I think that will tell us alot of what we need to know about both teams.

How well can GW pass without Jollay?  That’s the question.  Grundy cannot defend the pass with 20 DBs on the field, but are solid in the trenches.  If it’s a ground-and-pound game, I’m taking Grundy.  If GW is competent through the air, GW takes it.

GW is a run first team we've been able to open holes every game even the ones we lost. And have had big runs each game it's an attack by committee multiple players will carry the ball. And as far as passing goes Jollay is the better of the 2 passers no doubt. But that doesn't mean Smith is capable of slinging it. Against Giles he dropped some dimes. Against Graham he was off a bit but Graham had something to do with that lol. And Smith like Jollay will take off on you and you better hope you have speed to contain them if they do.

In short to me GW has a big speed advantage in this game and should have a pretty solid line play advantage imo. Colton Green is a man and will get in the backfield on D and the other linemen aren't slouches they get after it. Grundy is a gonna pound the rock at you all night and GW is built well to deal with that unless we're trying to tackle Graham's RB haha that kid is a cheat code. But if I'm honest I could see a trap game here GW should be favorites here so hopefully we do not look past Grundy if we do best case will be another RR game. If GW comes out and plays the way we can GW by several tds. So I'm gonna go GW-41 Grundy-15

If they do, they left it at home. They are on par with Grayson County and George Wythe.

How are they on par with Grayson and GW when GW molested Grayson? I will agree they are equal to Grayson probably very equal. But I said it a while back when all I heard was Holston this Holston that. If they played in C they'd be lucky to finish 6-4 Galax destroyed them, Giles would've won by 35+, PM is 3-5 scores better and imo GW wins in the range of 42-21. Not downing Holston they played a game in December my Maroons didn't. But I'm reality they made it this far because D is absolutely terrible if C and D played cross region playoffs not a single team from D would've made it close.

I’m just relaying what is being said on radio by Tazewell announcers. They said Jared elevated to try to get the pass and it was a clean hit and has been a clean played game. I’m not watching, only know what they’re saying. Hopefully, he’s alright. It’s awful when any player is taken off in ambulance. Praying it just a precaution & he’s fine.

I switched over on my phone on nfhs right before the play. Looked like a clean hit sadly the young man from Tazwell went up to catch a pass in the endzone and had his legs cut out. He landed horribly nothing but positive vibes and prayers his way.

I honestly don’t mean this to be offensive to the George Wythe faithful. Y’all have been saying for two years, Allen can’t coach. Riding high on Dixon’s former players. I believe 12 of the 38 players on the current roster actually played for Dixon.

At some point, reality has to set in.

None taken I think he can coach for sure you don't compete with the teams they do and not have good coaching. I just feel once all of the Dixon bunch is gone they fall off a bit.
