You question my picks, but you pick a team 3rd over a basically all senior team at number 4, who won 42-0 last year over them. Sometimes you need to take off your Rebel colored glasses. Hurley's pass defense looks like swiss cheese. If I were an opponent, I would throw the ball on every down.

Yep. That’s me. After the game, I also posted that I stood corrected and cogratulated graham on their win. That’s what men do. Admit they were wrong. Got no problem with it. I also said Union would beat everyone by two scores in the region D playoffs in football this past season (Richlands almost spoiled the party. Much respect Blue Tornados!) and I heard about it. Didn’t pack up my tent and leave the forum. So what if graham does win. So what if someone, such as yourself, decides to call me out on it. Even after I admit I spoke incorrectly. Is it gonna change my kids birthday?  Will my paycheck change?  Nope. I’ll congratulate them, again, and cheer them on in the title game. Come one man. We are a bunch of has been a talking about high school sports. Just so happens we have had some special talent concentrated in Southwest Va this year that has brought this place to a fever pitch. That’s great. We need that in an area where some of these kids will come home from practice to find out mom or dad just got laid off. Or they have to move because the mines closed.

I apologize for mentioning your name. We didn't see things the same in that thread, I truly do hope that Union wins the state title this year. I'm only interested in Hurley's athletics only. If no one has any info on what the subject matter is that was stated in the opening, then let this topic fade away until something new occurs.

I typed it exactly as I intended for it to be, dipshit. No, cowardice would be schools such as Twin Springs, Castlewood, Phelps, Holston, Eastside, 2A Shelby Valley, and 2A River View all of whom are larger than Hurley backing out of renewing the contracts. I wouldn't call scheduling replacement schools in 2A Tazewell and 3A Pike County Central as cowardice. Unlike your school, we don't play 3 schools in a season who are a classification below us to try to pad our win schedule. Hurley does more with less than any school in this state, period. As for my absence during the period of time that you are referring to, yeah, I wasn't feeling it on Saturday. I had a kid with pneumonia to take care of, and amazingly, we do celebrate together as a family during Thanksgiving time. I know that you think that you are the center of the universe and everyone is supposed to come running at your beckoning call when it is convenient for you, but that message never made it to my desk and went down the paper shredder.
