  1. Is Marcus Ray hurt? He was noticeably on the sideline tonight not that it matters but it might in a couple weeks.
  2. Congratulations to Union, I wasn't sure if they could pull off the win-going to be some post season games at Bullit Park for some teams with that dang train horn πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  3. Good one! I am truly hoping they’ve got things cleaned up this week! I prefer to be optimistic.....I’ll let you know though if your thoughts on the matter pan out πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  4. Any bets on if Graham keeps penalties below double digits? We shall see, I’m hoping to see some more disciplined play! Hoping for injury free game for both sides.
  5. Union cannot get any love from Coach Crigger πŸ˜‚ maybe if they beat Ridgeview, he'll put them above the Big R...who am I kidding? He's not going to do that πŸ˜‚
  6. Once you've had Peking, you'll never want Red Flower again. There aren't too many reasons to go to Grundy but that's one.
  7. If GMen don't clean up the penalties, find some discipline, and figure out to stop Rivhlands' new found running game, the only smoking on the 25th will be those with a nicotine addiction. If GMen play like they did end of season & playoffs last year, bring their A game, they win but I don't think it's a blowout by any means.
  8. That's a nice set up! Some places have a great tax base I guess.
  9. πŸ‘†πŸΌπŸ‘†πŸΌπŸ‘†πŸΌπŸ‘†πŸΌ Yep, this is the week to get wrinkles ironed out!!! Waiting until October 25th will be too late.
  10. TouchΓ¨...πŸ˜‚ I stand by everything else. I did say later in the comment Graham wins easily in my defense πŸ˜‚
  11. I was a football parent once, mamas & daddys don't bother me. Shoot I may swing by practice and see how that's going. What's the saying, how you practice is how you play? Inconspicuously , of course. πŸ˜‚
  12. Because his wife says it's time, I'd say when she's ready, he's ready. Isn't that the way it usually goes in a marriage, lol.
  13. GMen are good and have yet to prove as good as last year. I know they've had some injuries, kids banged up, other starters out, I get that affects plays. The only really solid teams they've played have beat them though. Still undisciplined, there was no home cooking in Princeton. It was called pretty much down the middle, others may want to argue that point. IMO, GMen thought they could roll this season and if they don't clean things up , they'll be lucky to squeak by Richlands. You cannot have over a dozen penalties against Richlands. They can probably still pull out the win in Lebanon with that many penalties. The season is half over, buckle down and put your heads on straight. GMen are very good and have had explosive plays and great games. Got some great playmakers, They have the ability to go deep in the playoffs. I'd just like to see more disciplined play across the board. I think they win easily but let's limit the self inflicted wounds. Go GMen!
  14. Ain't nobody butt hurt at your attempt of humor, you give yourself way too much credit dude, I was simply responding to another board member's question. Ghost of Ernie Hicks funny, rubbers , meh, not really.
  15. I don’t think there is among most people. I’ve spoken to many former players, parents, guys he coached with, all say good things about him including Greg Mance. You always have a select few that can’t say anything good about anybody or want to be a douche. As for Mance, I’d say he’s there until he & his wife decide to retire.
  16. Feel your pain buddy! GMen had too many mistakes against Bluefield and Union. Luckily, the abundance of penalties in Princeton game didn’t cost us because they aren’t good. GMen really need to clean up things especially before Richlands and playoffs. Good luck Friday Night!
  17. I'm not sure the game would have ended the same had Radford had PJ, Marshall, & Cobbs. Richlands would have had tougher time with Bobcats for certain. Congratulations to Blues though. Cade Simmons has improved tremendously in a short time.
  18. I wish Tazewell was healthy and had all their players. I felt like this was their best chance of beating Richlands in a long time. I really don't see it happening without Chance Harris and especially if Jordan is out too. It's football, anything can happen. I'm really proud of the Bulldogs!
  19. Great night of football for Tazewell County all around! Definitely big win for the Blues! Cade Simmons had a great game!
  20. Trying to set WV high school record for penalties πŸ™„
  21. Graham has about as many penalties as points. Princeton has none , someone correct if I'm wrong. Edit: they'll need several more penalties to keep even with score now. We have second half to go so it's possible. Princeton finally got a couple penalties.
  22. Here a flag, there a flag, everywhere a dang flag...this is going to be a long game.
  23. Graham three encroachment calls on Princeton's first drive πŸ™„
