That’s what I was wondering by his comment. Tarter definitely knows football. He was unfortunately appointed captain of a ship that was already sinking. I still think he did the best he could all things considered and stepped up when no one was willing. I wish him all the best and hope they find someone to build the program back up. Folks need to realize, it’s not a one season “fix”. It will take some determination and dedication of a strong coach and the Blues’ fan base needs to be supportive and give some grace to whomever takes over. The powers that be need to leave the person alone. Just my thoughts anyway.

They've issued a statement regarding the cancellation, lack of participation and logistics involving football game being moved to Saturday. They're going to do something at halftime for veterans. Princeton is having veterans parade on Saturday at 11am & game at 1:30pm. It's not impossible to do both. They definitely should have clarified from the beginning & it would have saved them a lot of trouble probably.

I'm under the impression he really likes it there and they like him. Richlands needs someone totally new in my opinion.

That’s awful! Nothing, not even football should supersede honoring our veterans. It’s a shame the game couldn’t have been schedule for late afternoon/evening as to not interfere with the parade. I’m guessing gate opens a couple hours before the game which would cut it close to overlapping??? If parade is not that long, still could do both I would think even without changing times.

I think Coach Palmer and his assistants do a good job keeping kids grounded and focused on one game at a time. Hopefully, they play a complete game with very few miscues Friday night.

They played last Friday and Honaker won by a score. I believe Rural Retreat fumbled a TD in the end zone on one drive also. It seemed like it was a tit for tat kind of game. CalPreps has Honaker winning 40-21 right now , giving RR only a 12% chance of winning. Will the Indians keep this one close or does Honaker run away with it the second time around?
