  1. No, twice that I know of recently. 2019 28-13 Appo at Appo 2021 42-28 Graham at Graham Graham did play Radford in 2018 , the year we went on to win state.
  2. Going to be a sleepless night waiting for tomorrow after watching the Appo/Glenvar game. That was some exciting football by two really strong teams. Hoping for a well played game by the GMen and a win 🤞!
  3. I agree! They should have been able to put it away on either of those last two drives. Appo is Appo. Pennix is a beast on offense.
  4. Why Appo kicks it deep like that to guys that can fly, I don’t know. They did that last year against Graham to Zay.
  5. https://heraldcourier.com/sports/roberts-a-tower-of-power-for-g-men/article_e4c0ee4c-6c5f-11ed-9356-9fd02de4fa2f.html?utm_campaign=snd-autopilot&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_Bristol_Herald_Courier&fbclid=IwAR0zTDfcf5UfRCyt_Q5TK4SIJpXuRt5Tw9Fu0MApK0HGF0bOQcE3YTBhJHE&mibextid=Zxz2cZ BHC Article featuring Connor Roberts.
  6. Final: James Monroe 27, Wheeling Central 7. The Mavericks are heading to Wheeling Island Stadium to play in the Class A State Championship.
  7. Alvis another player you don't hear much about but a vital part of the O line & team! Hopefully, the O line opens up some holes for our RBs! Ridgeview's defense seems to be clicking on all cylinders.
  8. These two will be hard to replace but the others are learning from them which bodes well for underclassmen having to step up next year. The Seniors on the team are great leaders! The best thing about this team & these boys aren’t “me” players. They are a team, a family. It will be fun to watch this young team grow next year.
  9. I think Sawyers was probably the most improved player last year from beginning through the end of the season. It really hurt not having him against King William. He’s really played well this season. He’s a great athlete! He didn’t play last year against Ridgeview either due to being injured.
  10. They knew Vitamin D worked. They knew Ivermectin worked. They knew natural immunity worked. They knew masks didn't work. They knew social distancing didn't work. They knew children were at the lowest risk and obese people were at the highest. They knew the vaccine would not prevent transmission. We could literally do this all day long. The FDA has lost all credibility. The.End.
  11. https://heraldcourier.com/sports/adversity-paying-off-for-gws-brother-act/article_0556b6b8-6ac7-11ed-b3b9-6b3267b48c02.html Jollay brothers of GW article, nice write up.
  12. 50% just looked , I think it will keep going back & forth and we really won’t know for sure until Friday how rainy it might get. Rain definitely a disadvantage to predominantly pass teams.
  13. Rain is down from 60% to 50% for Bluefield unless it’s changed from earlier today per WC app.
  14. That’s a bit deceptive since a lot of those points scored were by the opponents starters on Graham’s JV. The 1st team is allowing about a TD per game. The same may be true of Ridgeview if they pull their starters like Graham does with a comfortable lead.
  15. It may come down to which defense comes in with the best game plan and can adjust that game plan as needed. What’s the old saying, offense wins games, defense wins championships. I don’t know much about RV defensive coaches but I do know Rex & Snake do a great job. I honestly think this game will be won or lost at the LOS.
  16. Graham’s 1st team has been giving up an average of 7 points per game. Bluefield they gave up the most. I’d be shocked if Ridgeview scores 42 on Graham. I’m not saying they can’t beat Graham, they certainly can but Graham’s defense would have to totally implode to let a team score 42 at this point IMHO.
  17. Fort Chiswell coach has been fired. They’ll need their 6th coach since 2013 maybe more, I’ve lost count. Can’t build a program with so much changeover.
  18. I really think Glenvar is a tough out for Appo. Both are well coached with some great athletes but I think either could win. I don’t see a blowout but a back & forth type of game. Might come down to who doesn’t turn it over or hurt themselves with penalties. I’m not sure if the weather favors one over the other, I don’t know enough specifics about Appo or Glenvar’s offenses this year but if it’s raining a predominately pass offense could have trouble. Good luck to both!
  19. Has to be better than 71% , 2014 was the 70-0 whoopin’ GC gave GMen. If I figured it up correctly 19-6 in playoffs through last Saturday which puts him at 76%, a little better than 71%. A couple more really good post seasons, he might hit 80s although I’m no mathematician, lol.
  20. 3,000? Y’all must be bringing a lot because the Graham attendance this past Saturday was dismal to say the least. Hopefully, it picks up this Saturday even with the forecast.
  21. Y’all can’t give the TCSP board any more grief than most of us local folks already have, lol! Cowbells? What’s a high school football game without cowbells? I’m just glad I saved my rain poncho looks like 60% chance on Saturday. Heaven forbid we have a few umbrellas in a 10,000 seat stadium.
  22. I think some people not even Graham people are trying to get y’all riled up, lol. I’m a Graham faithful and I don’t see Graham by “fiddy” 😂😂😂.
