I think Graham asked them to play just move game up to this Friday. I guess they’d rather travel 5+ hours. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m not sure why George Wythe refused to play on Saturday when Graham offered. That would give GW four days of practice . They’re out of Covid protocol tomorrow. Other teams have played with less practice including Graham. It doesn’t speak well of their staff in my opinion.

Hopefully, they work it out to play Saturday then in Wytheville! I know Graham would agree to it.

That’s sad, I’m sure Graham could play Saturday as long as Bluefield College didn’t have a home game. It could still be done though just at a later time. That’s such a crock of it if GW can play & chooses not to.

Kids only get so many games to play in high school & then for most that's over. If a game can be played, it should be. A lot of teams have played games with little practice due to being in Covid protocol but managed to go ahead and play. Adults owe it to kids to let them play if at all possible. That's just my opinion. I commend Galax for sure with that many out to play.

I never thought Tazewell had a prayer against the Riverheads but with that said, they moved the ball pretty well. I think they can beat Grundy if they limit self-inflicted wounds. Tazewell QB is pretty impressive to just be a freshman.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to post rubbish on a sports board and remove all doubt!

Anyone heard if Graham got a replacement game for George Wythe? Did George Wythe find one for the 8th? I wish Bluefield could play Graham on 1st & then Graham & George Wythe play on 8th but I heard that’s a no go from Bluefield.

I agree Tazewell is moving ball. Creasy doing pretty well considering he’s a freshman. Tazewell has determination & fight. Riverheads doing an onside kick up 35-0 is “classy”. 🙄. No wonder so many people aren’t fans.

Well, Radford did lose 63-0 against Christiansburg tonight.

That’s a big if, 81 flowing well. I never take 81 from Bluefield that direction. I always take 460 even with speed traps, it’s less stressful than 81. Tech traffic might impede you though. 81 is a nightmare.

Graham vs Galax…it is quite a haul though from your place but should be a decent game. Are there even any good restaurants in Galax? You could always swing by the Dutch Pantry in Rural Retreat on the way. It has excellent eats!
