That’s just it! At this point if you want to play, take what you can get. No team really has luxury in this crap shoot to be too picky. I don’t care who Graham plays, I just hope they get a game and aren’t as picky as Princeton.

I think Blevins is the most athletic player on the team. With each game he gets under his belt as QB, I only see him getting more explosive and plus more accurate with his passes.

I say Graham not have a homecoming dance until after the season is over.

Since some of you are more knowledgeable about powerpoints than myself. If a team is leading in powerpoints or close to the top and has a game canceled by their opponent due to Covid protocol, how much of an impact will that have ultimately if they can’t find a replacement game or can’t make up the original game ? I only ask because of GW game getting canceled next week. Hopefully, we find a replacement game.

In my defense, I clicked submit & couldn’t remember if I included a couple 1A teams that I intended to; I kept rearranging the drop boxes & switching them up. Next time, I’m writing my list on paper first 😂 I definitely didn’t put Union as #1 😂 but a close 2nd 😂.

Where do you publish the weekly results of these polls? I haven’t completed one just wondering. I could be overlooking the obvious.

GW seemed to struggle some first couple of weeks but had a really good showing this past week. Rural Retreat has a solid program. Missing out on two games will hurt RR but will it hurt them enough for GW to get the W? I think it will be a close one in this Wythe County battle. Good luck to both teams!

As Graham gets more games under their belt, I think the passing game gets stronger. Blevins has an arm & I think his accuracy keeps improving with each outing. He’s got more than one receiver to look to, Watkins had a good showing against Union.

Unfortunately, it could very well end up this way. How are these two week quarantines affecting really good teams especially if they have more than one during the season. We thought spring was bad but it’s worse now. Having to find teams to fill cancellations. Tazewell couldn’t even find an opponent to replace Battle this week. It’s just a never ending crap shoot at this point.

Maybe if both coaches agree to it but I think normally doesn’t happen until 2nd half.

It probably won't even be close. I hope the Dawgs can have a good showing & I commend Coach Harris for putting the Riverheads on the schedule. Play up to get better , play down to pad the record.

Maybe the coaching staff read some of the comments on here & decided they needed to make some adjustments, lol. Definitely looks like GW headed in the right direction now. I'll be cheering against them in a few weeks though when they play Graham, lol.

I’m watching Galax/Radford tonight in NFHS. No offense to the Maroon Tide but Galax ain’t a Union. I’m not saying it’s a cakewalk for Graham. It won’t be but I guarantee they’ll be some adjustments and defense will show improvement over this week. We had some that didn’t want any part of Union & the D staff needs to toughen those boys up, lol. I’m not naming names or numbers.
