They won the regular season in the playoff game yesterday. After regular season champion is determined, points determine seeding 2-4 in region.

OK, how it stands right now is graham is in 4 seed. Richlands would have to win the district tournament to get in as Grayson is set at 3.

You don’t receive points for losses in SWD Tournament. Graham should be 4 seed with enough points to get in I don’t think Richlands has a chance and Grayson has to outpoint seeds 2- 4, and they can’t outpoint VA High, solidifying them at 2. 1 Lebanon 2 Va High 3 Grayson 4 Graham

Battle is hosting the Region and is the #1 seed out of the mountain in 2A. That is fact!

It is completely accurate. The regular season champion, which defaults to Battle, due to Abingdon being 3A is the #1 seed.

As far as region, If they are the mountain 2 seed, they will play the Southwest 3. Either Grayson county or Graham more than likely.

They are very much in danger of not making the region playoffs due to point system. Grayson County can seed 2-4 in region, and tazewell has more points than graham at this moment.

I give Lebanon all the credit in the world. I have watched Buchanan and Steele grow in the game of baseball since they were 11 years old, playing with Jr. Viking Baseball to Crusaders Baseball, and now to Elite Prime in Atlanta. Both are fantastic young players with great futures. As a team, Lebanon has a lot to prove to use the word "DOMINANT and FANTASTIC". Central is a very young team, and they aren't near as good as they were last year, due to attrition, but they will be playing well probably in the end. Big Win over Union last night. If you have watched the Region 2A baseball season the last few years, it isn't loaded in talent or dominant teams. Our Region usually can pose well down the road. Va High has showed consistency in lineup for past few years, which makes them a stronger team. Not just 1 dominant pitcher.

Lebanon hasn’t played Science Hill or VHS. 1 pitcher doesn’t make a team. They have 2 division 1 sophomores that have committed and the only team of substance they have truly played is Tennessee High! Lebanon has played battle 3 times for 8 of their wins and have gotten all they have wanted from them. They have played Grundy, tazewell and central and beat them all in run rule fashion. They are a good team, but I would like to see their record with a VA High schedule!

Who has Lebanon played? Until they play a true quality opponent, how can you say dominate? They are good with Buchanan on the mound, but until they face a team with a good lineup top to bottom it is hard to say they will dominate. TN High exposed that! There isn't a dominant team in 2A to this point!

There are several teams in the tournament, but I am not sure on all the TN Schools. I do know the following teams will be in: Abingdon HS Unicoi County Morristown East Tennessee High Daniel Boone Looking Valley, OH John Battle HS Lee HS Lebanon HS Gate City HS Field Sites will be Tennessee High, Virginia High, and Abingdon!

VA High had errors - Union took advantage of them!

Launch angle is the absolute worst way for any high school kid to employ. Ask any coach outside of Longworth if it is useful for their team. Kids are not strong enough nor do they have the understanding of how it truly works. Harless, Hungate, Francisco, Cross from Tn high, some past and present of the regions most elite hitters don’t employ it and look where they are headed or where they are at now. It will create a home run evey once in a while. Mostly makes a weak ground ball on an outside pitch or a high fly ball for the outfield.

VA HIGH lost 2 full time starters, which 1 was as a pitcher from last season. They return 7 field starters, and entire pitching staff outside of Griffith. Will be very strong offensively and defensively this season. With the return of Aaron Rose at catcher, who didn't play last season, the offensive order has speed and power! Seven of the front line players have 3-4 years starting varsity experience. Depth will be an issue if there are injuries!

Union isn't playing Elizabethton or Science Hill. Paintsville, KY has been added to the schedule for home and away the next 2 years!

2A was voted on today. Don't know when released. I know coaches are in Charlottesville voting!
