Hasnt been discussed here that I see. Hows everybody feel about the hire? Could Johnson be the guy to get Northwood football back in shape? Remember they used to have a moderately decent talent pool.

I don’t see anybody in 1D being a lock for the second round besides Chilhowie. My guess is that Burtons young team “upsets” a few and we get the 4th meeting of them and Chilhowie in 2 years in the region finals.

Was this game chosen purely because it is two of the biggest fan bases in SWVA? Honestly think Chilhowie-PH gonna be a better game. I mean 2 8-0 teams in the same district doesn’t happen often

I don’t know that Chilhowie will have their way with the rebels. They had their way with a Honaker team I think is a pretty decent 1D team. Chilhowie will have a hard time with controlling them as they have other teams so far this year cause of OL size and power backs. Both teams offenses seem great but Patrick Henry defense seem to lack big time play components seeming to give up quite a few points to teams with losing records. I’d say warriors win 48-36. one mistake can turn this game around. Slow start ends either teams perfect season.

since moving to Russ Co I’ve found myself in tigerland or tigerville or tiger town whatever more times that I thought I would. I’ll more than likely be there Friday to watch them play Patrick Henry. I will give my opinion then. Should be a decent game.

Sorry just need to ensure my fill of SWVA news LOL Definitely would enjoy maybe hearing a q&a for guys like 1instripes and cityofraven . Like open the forum up and let the board ask them question follow up questions: if you guys could choose 3 sports legends of the area to be interviewed for the off season who would you pick? Any thought of keeping the show going during winter and spring? Covering basketball and baseball If it iwould be too hard to do the sports maybe just do a weekly area news and have a guest just come on and shoot the bull. Probably some good stories that could be told. Would love to hear another 1instripes and City of Raven. Sure there are some good stories that are yet to be told
