Not at all there Skippy, I guess you thumping your chest when your team hadn't done anything yet had me scratching my head. But you do you if it makes you feel better.lol

1. Galax did look uncharacteristically out of sorts. They looked sharp first three offensive an defensive series, although I think the two tds called back and the insane amount of penalties killed their rythym. 2. I was curious about not adjusting to the unbalanced formation as well. 3. Carroll done a fantastic job adjusting to stop our inside runs second half, in which we didn't do anything to adjust on our behalf. 4. Thet ran the ball to the same side all night to keep it out of Benjis broke hand but we never picked up on that. Lol 5. And yes Benji playing QB completely changed the game in my opinion. He is a great athlete. 6. That last play will be talked about for years. 7. Galax has a great team but the play calling was extremely limited and vanilla. No counters, no jet sweeps, no pitches to outside to take advantage of their speed. Confusing to me but they know alot more than I do so it's just my humble opinion. 8. Radford will be a battle

It's seems in alot of the games last night the refs didn't either.

They must be getting the refs from the bars as I have never seen as many flags threw on one team in my life tonight. Galax had to have had 200 yards in penalties.

How long has Holston HC been there. Seems like he has the team on the right track. Also one of the nicest grass fields I have been to. Very nice stadium. The VHSL should of moved the Galax Chilhowie game a couple years ago there when Chilhowie wouldn't play at Emory. Much nicer field than where they played.

Hats off to Holston, their defense flew to the ball all night. The quarterback was as advertised. He was a very smooth runner and passer. That long pass down the middle was a thing of beauty. On the other side of the ball, Pickett is a beast when running the ball

Yeah he was kind of a jackass there at the end wishing Galax ill will. You shouldn't be an announcer if you can't keep your emotions in check when losing.

Galax finally stopped trying to run up the middle and scored on QB off tackle power

You are spot on here. Shane has done a great job and I sure as hell wouldn't want to come in after Dixon but he has done it the right way in my opinion. The QB was down certainly not a fumble and Galax got pass happy after the first drive of the second half. Although Galax had people open many many times that the QB just didn't see which hurt them and got them behind the chains. Although he threw some strikes last night as well. Cole is an athlete for sure. I give Narrows front seven alot of credit they flowed to the ball extremely well and was physical (certainly the best we have seen all year.) like in stated earlier Galax had receivers open for days all night, Narrows just hadn't seen that type of speed all year and it showed against the their DBs. Although I cannot figure out why Narrows NEVER ONCE covered our slot receiver when we went trips? I also have to give Galax Defense credit to shut down Narrows like they did and hold them to less than a hundred yards total offense was an impressive showing. They will have to repeat it next week against a very athletic and mobile QB in Holston.. Congrats to Narrows to a great year.
