We will find out early next week. They had good showings against Bluefield and Martinsville, and took Pulaski County to the woodshed. They are young and prone to make mistakes, it will be interesting to see how they match up with the Bearcats.

Big Turn of events for the Bulldogs, they lost by 50 the first time they played Lebanon. They did have a couple of starters out, though. But yeah, not a good sign for Lebanon going forward.

Grahams varsity is very young too. A few sophomores and a couple freshman getting significant playing time.

I agree. Graham had a good showing against a very good Martinsville team. Graham is built for the future right now and should be tough by the end of the season. Good Luck to Martinsville going forward. Look forward to seeing the Bulldogs later in the season. Up next for Graham will be another challenge in Virginia High .

I agree with this. Lot of talent coming up. Bluefield does too. Bluefield usually dominates Graham in basketball , but there should be some good match ups between those 2 teams the next few years.

They also played Elizabethton around that time too.

Ray went out for a few minutes in the 2nd when Bluefield made a 19-2 run to go from down 7 to up 10. That was Bluefield's largest lead. Graham got within 1 a couple times but ran out of gas. Bluefield is good and one of the favorites to win AA in WV and rightly so. Good outing for Graham

Surprisingly close. Good sign for Graham. Impressed with the play of Graham’s point Guard, Markel Ray. Graham is much better when he is on the court.

They play GW on Thursday and Bluefield on Friday. I think they have Martinsville next week. Graham will have a young starting group. 1 freshman and 4 sophomores, I believe. Despite the youth, they should win more then they lose, but a very tough schedule to open up the season for such a young group. I would favor V-High to win the district. Good looking future for Graham in the upcoming years. Middle school has a lot of talent too. This year will be a learning curve for the young G men.

Reasons for transfer is between a parent and their child. Everybody else can take their opinions and go pound sand.

I think both have to make room for Lebanon joining the district too.

Isn't Lebanon re-joining the SWD next season. That will require current SWD members to drop somebody.

Brayden Meadows had an outstanding game at QB today.

Went back and watched the broadcast. "No 2 ways about it". "You gotta hate that" ... "Shot out of a Cannon" "Oh My Goodness" "Boys"....good grief, that was hard to listen to.

I thought they looked big in person too. They had me nervous for 3 plus quarters. They were a good team and certainly deserved to be there. I don't think they were used to another team going toe to toe with their line for 4 quarters however. They were used to wearing teams down and controlling possession in the 2nd half of their games. I think they were the team that appeared worn down in that 4th quarter.
