I think the volleyball team and girls basketball teams at Marion are very solid. The Volleyball team recently won a state title and competed for another. The boys basketball team has competed very well. Swim team does great. Had a couple of state champions recently. I'm not sure why you think athletics in general are pretty bad in Marion. Didn't the golf team just win the region D title? Marion has a lot to be proud of.
Yes, they absolutely do. At least the lineplay of Pulaski is much better. PC is big and strong on the line of scrimmage and have a good power run game. It absoluely should be a "slobber knocker". PC will be a little more versatile on offense then Graham this week, but I still like Graham by 7. I think the defense gets enough stops to win it.
They will still be missing a couple, will get a couple back. If they play like they did tonight, I like their chances. Can't wait for next week, PC likes to run a power game, could be an old fashioned slobber knocker.
Graham has all the pieces for a power run game. Strong line. Having Hill line up as a blocking back caught me off guard, he is really opening up huge holes. It is fun to watch that big boy go in motion and then clear a path for the running back.
V-High defense is gassed. Graham running the ball down their throats. Omarri Hill is blasting huge holes and Hughes is a load to bring down. Jamel Floyd is stepping up to show that he would be a starting running back for just about any team around here too. I think they are on to something here. Dang.
Graham 21
V-High 14.
Raley is # 21. I think it's # 54, sorry couldn't see, his jersey is crumpled a little. Omarri Hill....he was blowing up that line big time on that last drive.
Well, maybe you should because Tazewell has won 2 of the last 3 against Richlands and the loss was by 1 point on a questionable call. Bulldogs are focused on the present and future, not the past.
