Can someone clear up a question about the kickoff touchback rule (playing in Kentucky)? we kicked off to LCC. Return man had the ball go off his hands at about the five. The ball rolled deep into the end zone. The WHITE HAT blew the play dead and signaled touchback while the return man had scooped the ball and started running. I dont pretend to know all high school rules. But wouldn’t that be a live ball since it hit the return team player. Coach Turner stayed calm, so I was thinking I missed something.

You should maybe reserve your opinions until you know the facts! Those kids were coached to do that. I know this first hand. TJ is the david koresh of wise county. Don't be blinded by the light. Those kids were told to do that. Yes, the kid did transfer to Union. So did his little brother. But in no way did he do it on his own. He also apologized to Mac for it after the game the next time they played. Dont forget that little tj commited the hard foul that same play on him. Funny how he is never brought up, just the kid that put him into the wall.

The kid was doing what tj told them to do. James Mitchell and Mac were not to dunk. If they tried, put them into the wall. Dont blame the kids for doing what they are coached to do. Right or wrong.

No one can accuse Coach Turner of dodging competition. My guess is he scheduled who had an opening. We don't fill our schedule with 1A cupcakes lol. But it sounds like LCC is down from what I gather. Time will tell.

They scrimmage 1A teams and their non conference games are 1A. Really challenging this "next big thing" group. Scrimmaged an awful Marion team, the only 2A competition. Come on man!

The feeling is mutual pal. We expect a rowdy atmosphere when we travel. And respect those who rock the bleachers like we do. There will be idiots here and there from every fan base. Nobody bats 1000%.

He doesn’t speak for Union. Please understand that. Those kids have been raised by PV and Appy parents who were born with a football and still have that mentality to this day. History means everything to these kids. They want to make their community proud.

Antwun Jenkins from The U. (Pretty sure I misspelled his first name). Kid was everywhere. Made key plays to tilt the game from the defensive side of the ball. Kids been overshadowed by his other three brothers. But he’s coming into his own now. Adkins from RV. He’s rushed for about 1.3 miles per game lol. Gate City coaches. They have turned that dumpster fire around.
