This should be the toughest game so far in the playoffs for Galax, I think PH will be the most physical team we have seen in the playoffs as well and they will come to play ball. I believe if Galax plays up to their capabilities they can come out with the win but PH will not be a pushover. Looking forward to Saturday and hopefully Galax can do their thing and make it back to Salem.

If Galax plays like they are capable of playing I think they will get the win again in a much more tightly contested game this go around. If Galax doesn't show up and just plays a half a$$ game they will be watching the rest of the playoffs

I didn't think grayson had ever been 1a before this year??? In the old system I thought they were in single a but division 2 which was basically the same thing as 2a I think. Some of the other guys on here would know for sure.

Galax has played... Glenvar 5 wins Martinsville 0 wins Carroll County 3 wins Rural Retreat 4 wins Northside 6 wins Fort Chiswell 4 wins GW 6 wins Auburn 5 wins They play at Grayson County this week who has 3 wins. I count 4 teams with more than 4 wins and 2 more that have 4 wins.

What's wrong with wanting to play a different team that is good to see how you match up and if things stay the same in the points we will not see them until the third round if im not mistaken if both teams make it that far. Several games to be played before it could happen If playoffs started today 1 Galax va 8 Bath County 4 Covington vs 5 Auburn 2 Narrows vs 7 Parry McCluer 3 GW vs 6 Grayson County That would put Narrows playing the winner of GW vs Grayson in the second round. If they finish this way in points they will only see Galax in the third round if they both make it that far.

Nothing against GW but i hope Narrows beats them in the playoffs if that game happens simply because Galax has already played them and beat them. I'd like to see if we can match up to all the size and speed Narrows has this year. Assuming we make it that far.

Yes i seen it and if you have proof they're manipulating numbers to stay in 1A present these facts to the VHSL is all im saying. My point is why did a thread intended to discuss the Galax at GW game get hijacked about Riverheads enrollment numbers. Seems to happen every year on the message boards, we start off talking bout a completely different subject and leads to Riverheads cheating the system.

How do threads that have nothing to do with Riverheads seem to always lead to the enrollment numbers there? I dont have a clue as to how many kids attend Riverheads high school other than what the VHSL says and the VHSL says they fall into 1A so everybody else in 1A better be ready to play them. If anyone has proof that they should be in 2A it should be presented to the VHSL to take care of the situation or just accept the fact that they're 1A. To be the man you have to beat the man and Riverheads is the man in 1A!!!

Galax and GW are both better this year.

It was actually Northside not Salem and yes Galax played them tough after the first couple of series.

How do you figure they called off the dogs when their starters played the whole game????

GW QB is real good from what I seen...hope your right and Galax pulls away for the win.
