Turnovers and penalties made the game closer than it should have been. Wolfpack on offense had around 350 yards of total offense and 3 turnovers Va high had around 80. Lots of penalties by both teams the 4th quarter had lot of personal fouls by both teams. Va high I think will win some games this year they got some good players
Coach Stanley could be a good pick for head coach for Ridgeview.
Ridgeview has got a good passing attack with receivers. If I’m not mistaken coach Stanley was on the old haysi teams that was pass heavy and had great success
Who would get the 1 seed in Mountain 7 if Abingdon beats Union that would leave a 3 way tie with Union, Ridgeview, wise with 2 district loses assuming Ridgeview beats Gate City and wise beats Gate city?
Terrible the way the looked last night they won’t even beat Gate city seen no adjustments all night on defense. Offense play calling terrible not sure why they keep trying to establish the run there not going to do it against bigger d lines need to spread them out with there speed. Fake punt on 4th and 12 on there side of the field terrible call
Just by watching teams on film I think Abingdon is better then Ridgeview and Union. Going to be big games for both teams Union at Abingdon Ridgeview gets them on the Ridge.
I was surprised with all the run plays Ridgeview did tonight especially in the 1st quarter haven’t seen them run that much all year. Great sportsmanship from the Union kid helping one of Ridgeview guys out with his cramp need to see more of that.
