Apparently as of here recently it is becoming common knowledge he is not going to coach there next year for whatever reason. I have heard this from several people now. 

So Darren is going to be his own replacement? Nice. 

And Central heard Luke Logan is coming to be the new OC there 

So you are essentially saying the Cumberland is going to be even worse then it was last year with the exception of Burton?

I think I have to agree with you. I initially thought Rhodes would be a good fit, but his struggle to retain coaches from year to year and lack of winning is concerning. I spoke with a guy in C-wood at the dealership the other day whose son played at ES and he said they have had a different guy calling the offense every year because Rhodes either fires them or they want to go elsewhere. Luke's success seemed to have happened because he was able to keep that core group of coaches and people together. Mullins knows the environment at Central, knows the kids, and has been around long enough to prove he knows what he is doing.

I’m curious on who the right coach for them would be? Because they are going to walk into a tough situation whoever it may be, and the SWD isn’t exactly a cake walk. Marion could improve as a team and still lose the same amount of games for the next few years.

I gotcha. Wasn't trying to be  ugly to you. Just saying IF that is how they arrived at their pretend team, then that is pretty sad

The differences between the Gun Wing-T with 2 WRs without RPOs and the Single Wing with 1 WR(how RC was operating) are minimal. Same blocking schemes, same plays. Only real difference  is what it's called. One is "modern" while the other is "outdated". RC hasn't had a QB that could run a RPO offense, the past few seasons they really only had 1 legit offensive threat with some complimentary players. 
 
Again, "getting kids to come out" is parents running their mouths about things they don't understand and kids reflecting that. 
Maybe Osborne should have marketed what he was doing better?

I don’t think his style of play gets kids excited to come out for football and that’s the ultimate challenge at small schools. They aren’t going to attract many coaches but think they should go after a young coach who may get a better turn out.
