The way the bracket is set up, that should be the championship game. M7 is always a battle. Abingdon, Central, and Ridgeview will have some battles this year. Those three are definitely in a tier above the rest in the district. With Bays not playing, GC will have a drop off. Carico is a good player, but she’s not a shooter. And with their best post player gone, teams will dare her to shoot. Union is young, but will be a team nobody wants to play by the end of the season. Battle and Lee will bring up the bottom of the standings.

Haha, no problem. Thought I may have missed something lol. I know Honaker played Lee in a benefit game in the preseason. Didn't think RC and Honaker played, but my memory isn't t the best.

UVA Wise coaches have been notorious about not wanting to recruit locally until recently. There is a ton of talent in SWVA that could help that program. But Bitter will probably not be there long enough to see that

Yes, Lee returns their entire team next year and will only lose one next year. So they are set up for the next couple of seasons

I knew her dad called them last year whenever Lee played at Tazewell in the region semifinals. Like I said, I was told the coaches at Battle said no, so she didn't go there.

Sorry, I thought you meant the distance on the sidelines. Nobody stands behind the end zones to watch the games at Five Star Stadium, so I didn't think you were talking about that. The new track was added last year

I have no clue. I have heard she was going to Battle, Abingdon, Patrick Henry, and Tennessee High. But that was prior to school starting. So I'm not sure what is going on. Also heard over the weekend that her dad wanted to be the one calling her pitches, and the coaches at Battle said no, so she didn't go there. But that wasn't from anyone associated with Battle.

Nothing has changed with the fence to my knowledge. At least distance wise
