As for wrestling, going to either district will only give them more freedom to schedule matches all over the state and country against top flight schools. Instead of going to a district match now, they can go back to Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Nevada, California, or tidewater area and wrestle better teams. Looks as it would be a win win stituation for the wrestling team. Anyway looks like the BDD, until the rest of the district is ready to drop down and form a district in itself.

It is very hard on schools that have to travel 5 hours. It happened a few years ago when Powell Valley had to travel 10hours to their state final, almost to Deleware state line. Their mileage check was sometrhing like 8000.00. Not long after that they put all finals at a central location.

Each school is paid by the mile, given a certain amount for food and rooms. If the school goes over this amount, they must pay for it.

Slow down there basketball wonder, compare the history of the sports at Grundy. Sure you have been the best of the worst in basketball the last few years.
