it is a wrestling thing, lose a match punch a locker. i have seen it many times before. i think it is a written code or something. if you lose, you have to go and let everyone know it was the lockers fault, the doors fault, the window or something else, because there is no way that anyone could have a chance of beating them without outside help.

well after seeing all teams in the swd this year, there are no players worth player of any week. it has to be the worst collection of basketball players ever. i would hate to pick player of the year in the district because all that would mean, is you are the best of the worst!

crigger throwing batting practice? he should be good at it. that is what he threw when he pitched at grundy, but it was during the game that he pitched it.

it was patrick county in 95 or 96 . they came to grundy and complained very loudly. they had a once in a lifetime team for them. they were supposed to win easily. it was when osborne, keen, crigger were around. grundy won. now as for m'ville, they should be able to pick the score. grundy plays playground style of running up and down the floor. not a very good offense to play against m'ville. the only thing that will slow the bulldogs is the predicted snow fall.

i guess your field always has grass on it in november, because it never sees any playoff action. by the way vhsl put you in the lonesome pine. i think the painstville game has been replaced with bluefield. even with the kentucky schools it is a harder schedule than the weak ass highlands. as for honaker they have a hard enough time with haysi, more less any ky team.

well if that is the case, drop honaker and play grundy. put your schedule where your mouth is. or better yet go where the vhsl put you.

it would be best to let carroll county go to kingsport and over to pikeville ky and up to riverview. remember they can not cross mountains. that is why they are not in the piedmont district. they do not want to cross the mt at stuart, va. by going my proposed route they can stay on mostly 4 lane road. estimated time 9hours five minutes.

tazewell has the most talent on the floor of any of the schools. we thought grundy's coach is bad. tazewells is even worse. does not know when a team is playing a box or a triangle. he should do like grundy and let those athletes run up and down the floor like they would on the playground, stop coaching them (trying) and let them play. grahams coach in his first year is a more sound coach then any of the three remaining. my guess is graham wins the tourney if the games are close.

easy on the boys from hurley. they beat grundy like a drum.

maybe grundy and richlands could trade coaches.

it is called playing who the school board mandated grundy to play. hurley and garden could not find games and grundy is always looking. the school board, mainly the member from hurley said grundy had to play hurley.

about the refs, the same guy that called the grundy and carroll county football game, is the same guy ref who called the honaker and grundy basketball game. being non bias, i have to say he is terrible. i think his name is b. johnson from tazewell. anyway, you have to come to play and not put youself in a situation to let bad calls take your focus from the game.

is that the same time in the 90's when hurley would steal the tail gates from trucks that were parked at the game? or was that the same time when they spray painted the fieldhouse with hurley rules? ( the dumb ass that did it dropped his billfold and left it at the scene of the crime.)

charlie large, that is buster. he use to coach some football at bluefield, mt view, princeton, ji burton. he played baseball at graham also.
