the D will get better, they're young on that side of the ball..however i did like what i saw from the offense especially the passing game..if need be i think we can beat teams 38-35 like we did a few years ago against GA and Ga tech...the O will carry us till the D comes along

geez you guys are giving up to early. its only 1 game and ur throwing in the towel? i'm not even a VT fan, u guys have to keep in mind that VT is young and they just have to work towards improving practice by practice and game by game and see where they end up in the end... its 2 early to give up now

i agree.. next week is a big game, it would be tough starting a season 0-2 and makin the playoffs, even tho we did it my junior year before losing 27-7 to poca in the state title game...and buzzsaw i think the reason why we didnt use donte and trae to run the ball more was because of grahams size..as the games go on i think we'll see more carries from those guys like i did in the scrimmages against nitro, liberty and north marion

tracy is raw, my brother told me he practiced with 2 pads taped to his bicep today, thats pretty tough..

well one bit of good news, tracy coppoloa isnt out for the season, he's not even out for one week. I spoke to tracy today and he told me the muscle wasnt separated and he's gonna play friday night against beckley with a special pad on his arm. so hes good to go, no word on tony bland yet but i'll let you know asap.. GO beavers, make the former players proud!! just like you've done the first 2 weeks

i know man i remember the work that was required from the time i was a fresh, just to begin to get playin time, and then when i was a soph and graham beat us 56-8 we were young but we had loads of talent, then when we were seniors we were all, all-state and running the show...except for those poca dots, they were tough, especially santmyer, he was the strongest little guys i've ever played against

i feel u machine, i remember that game and the title game the year before and it was so gut wrenching, it broke my heart as it did everyone else on the team, and your not a wuss we all cried including the seniors, but gosh we had a lot of memoried the last 2 years going to wheeling island stadium and playin for all the bacon as coach simon says, i hope ya'll make it back and bring the bacon back to beaver country.. go beavers!!

first off, thank u maroon machine and beaverfan for agreeing with me. Most people said they didnt like the trashing, but i played 4 years for bluefield and in the last 2 state title games, and i've been through the good and the bad.. even though last year should've been worse i was still satisfied with the win, but to see u guys go out there and pound graham like that after all the talk they did, gave me as big a thrill as when we beat james monroe 3-0 my JR. year and beat weir in 2 OT my senior year.. and yes i remember the fumble, I as well broke down on my knees and cryed my eyes out, it broke my heart losing the title game in my senior year after we had worked soooooo hard to get back... but thats over, so get back to wheeling boys, i'll be there all the way, destroy those lil tigers just like we did last year in princeton,,, haha 2 fingers like a playa and hollar back..peace out
