RHS71

Used to play Packtrick Henry of Roanoke back in the 60's too. I'm not in favor of resuming play with Bluefield. Too much bad refereeing in the past. Regardless of the schedule this year or next the Blues had an awesome season again and I say congratulations to a great bunch of young men! Back when we played those far away tough teams we couldn't get past the district level in post season. Glad times have changed!

THANKS to all of the RHS PLAYERS and COACHES for an awesome year! Know the title was in the dreams but you'll always be #1 in the fans hearts! Thanks to the RHS Cheerleaders for the spirit you show and all the signs you make! Thanks too to the RHS Band ... always a great halftime show and the music during the game gets the crowds spirit going!. Thanks too the broadcasters for WGTH and 97.7 for allowing the ones that couldn't go to the games the opportunity to listen! And thanks to all the awesome fans that keep the support for the Blues at an amazing level! None like them anywhere!!! Next year here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go Blues! I agree that Martinsville's Band was awesome and sounded like a college band! Even their school song! Cheerleaders were part of the band too...I've not seen that before??? Thanks to them for a great halftime show! I saw the remark from Cave Spring's coach....kinda comical! I just wonder why Roanoke paper didn't have anything about our game??(If they did I missed it) I betcha if we had lost it would have a been headline news item??? I betcha!!!! Boys next time the other team starts trashmouthing you...say nothing , Smile at them then get up and start towards the refs. You'll look classy and they will shut up unless they want thrown out of the game. That will irritate them more than saying something back! I betcha! Next week CROWN THE KNIGHTS!!!!
