Yes side snaps are but the Verbage by the Coach on the sideline makes the play illegal. The defense is made to believe that a snap is not imminent. Rule 9.9.1 in the Federation Rules.
Pay them more and a change at the top may be good. People are tired of seeing the same officials all the time. Officials are tired of going to the same place all the time. And when there is a big game you always know who will be there.
Hmmm if the officials were that bad call the commissioner of the AOA he lives right there in Richlands and taught there for years. Plus he has sent that crew to Richlands 12 times in 3 years.
Break down the film and it will be there. Not going to get into a pissing contest. I was a neutral observer on the sideline and from what I saw and HEARD many were well deserved and lucky not to have more to happen such as ejection. Anyway I have made my one appearance on this board for the year and see that it has not changed I will check it again next year.
They would be a real good team with more scoring if they learned to keep their mouths shut and let their pads do the talking. Be a whole lot less penalties.
May I ask what they didn't or did call that was so bad. Seems to me if you could kick at PAT you would of had a chance in this game. Oh well guess you don't work on special teams.

Was not at the game so I do not have a horse in this race. You said that on 2nd down they had an incidental face mask but the officials did not change the down. They should not have. You have to replay the down with the face mask call being accepted so you get the 5 yard penalty and replay the down.
Sorry a personal foul in high school football does not carry an automatic first down. Only things that carry automatic first downs are defensive pass interference, roughing holder/kicker, roughing passer, and roughing the snapper.
PV is about as bright as you are going to get anywhere on this end of the state. I am trying to think of a schools lights that are better but one does not come to mind. I look forward to coming to Richlands and seeing how the new lights are. That place was dark in the past.
