i had him senior year for english and we did grammar and usage for most of the year as well. we only did the literature part for the last 2 6 weeks periods at most, he did help us out with writing and usage, even though i don't use it on here or anything else internet related. but it has shown in my writing style in college and such.

as sad as it is to admit, this thread is the highlight of the Texas Longhorns football season thus far.

i think Marion will win this one, i also found out that the guy who used to do radio for Marion football and basketball, Bill Garrick, now works at the college i attend down here in Dallas, small world. but with that aside, i think Tazewell will end the season 0-10, maybe one win will come for them but not this week.

i don't see how it's so hard to believe considering Graham was a pretty darn good sports school back when Carlock was around. they produced numerous athletes that could have gone on to play in college. looks like someone is still mad that AB ran crazy on their Bulldogs back in the day.

Lone Star isn't my favorite, but Shiner Bock is good. most Shiner beers i've had so far are good. dad had a beer made in Ft. Worth last night called Buffalo Butt and said it was pretty good. next Texas made beer i try will be Fancy Lawnmower haha.

i wasn't there last night. but when i played sports and traveled in high school. Abingdon had the WORST Sportsmanship and the WORST fans. go to a soccer game and you will see Abingdon fans cussing out players after the games as they are walking to the bus. Abingdon players for soccer are horrible sports and have the least sportsmanship out of any team around here. Abingdon should not be complaining about one incident when they usually are the ones doing things like these. i guess they are just mad because they couldnt go to the afterparty with eggs on their clothes.....

and what made it even worse was before the 2 bucs players approached him, he started to pound his chest like he was the sh*t. i agree with everything you say and he should have his whole yearly salary taken from this year for that. unexcusable comepletely.

there were only a few varsity players that played. BC does have a JV team and they were the ones that played. the varsity players that played down are ones that come off the bench and aren't expected to see much playing time this year.

they play to the level of their competition. their defense is stepping up when need be and that helps the offense get somewhat going. they will be fine. if they win out regular season and Big 12 championship, they WILL be champs this year.

Texas' offense hasn't had the production they had last year in these past 2 games. but a W is a W and i will take it with that game, especially it being that rivalry game. Texas is the number 3 team in the nation because they find ways to win even when their offense isnt playing well. they haven't lost. that's why they are number 3. they will play better near the end of the year. mark my words.
