  1. Region D was stacked at athletes considering Sage Webb couldn’t get on the first team
  2. 8/19 @Chilhowie (Benefit Game) 8/26 Virginia High 9/2 Graham 9/9 Looking for a game 9/16 John Battle 9/23 @Riverheads 9/30 @Grundy 10/7 @Richlands 10/14 @Bluefield 10/21 Marion 10/28 Fort Chiswell Someone on Wvtailgatecentral.com is reporting that Keyser, WV will host tazewell on 9/9 but as far as I know that’s not fully agreed upon
  3. Mount View won’t be on the schedule going forward. MV’s decision.
  4. It’ll be fun to watch them two play against each other their junior and senior years
  5. Agree, he has some work to do. The good thing is they both have 3 years to grow. I looked through Creasy’s Twitter followers. He has 3-4 college coaches following him, including Wake Forest’s offensive coordinator, which should be a good sign for the future.
  6. Tazewell’s quarterback Carter Creasy gets overlooked in the QB discussion due to team record but his stats were: Completed 234 of 363 passes for 2982 yards and 29 TD & had 124 carries for 690 yards 7 TD
  7. Just seen that Abingdon’s QB & WR made 2nd team all SWVA from the kingsport times 😂
  8. There’s always senior & well known players bias. Last season Trenton Adkins won defensive region player of the year but only played in 4 games. Not saying he wasn’t deserving, but did he have the stats that some of the guys that played in 7-8 games did?
  9. I was looking at FourSeasonsFootball.com and seen that in 1990 Lee traveled to Yorktown to play Tabb in the playoffs. That’s well over a 7 hour bus ride. Does anyone know of a local team that’s made a longer trip to play a game?
  10. The bathroom is 1000% better after the remodel this year but still not what it should be!
  11. I jinxed it. Intercepted by Galax
  12. Galax 23 Holston 7 8:07 2nd quarter with Holston driving
  13. First three games they had 1-2 seniors start on the o-line but some of that was due to players missing because of COVID quarantines. Since the 4th game on there was no seniors starting on the o-line. The defensive line however will be missing 3-4 seniors that either started or got quality playing time so they’ll have a lot of replace there.
  14. None of those guys started on the offensive line during the second half of the season. On the “young” (as you say) offensive line they started 2 juniors, 2 sophomores & 1 freshman.
  15. The Corner Shop (Bramwell) Dolly’s Diner (Princeton) Fannies (Doran) 128 Pecan (Abingdon) Lynn’s Drive Inn (Bluewell) Fisher & Co (Tazewell) Double Gates Grocery (Bluefield) just a few of the many local ones I enjoy
  16. Give Ridgeview’s playcaller a raise
  17. I agree that Tony has been the main reason for Graham’s consistency. Having a coach that kids want to play for means more than anything in this area. He’s also done a great job of learning to delegate things to assistant coaches, and he’s done a lot better job of making in game adjustments. The 2015-2017 teams he had were more talented than almost every team they played but they struggled after halftime (especially against Richlands) due to not making great adjustments. With that being said, Graham has been blessed with unreal talent during his stretch as the HC. Roman Workman, Jamorya Cousin, Taymon Cooke, Anthony Edwards, Nick Kestner, Cam Allen, Devin Lester, Brody Meadows, Xayvion Turner-Bradshaw..and many others. No other team on this side of the state (Bluefield not included) has had that collection of athletes. Graham has had at least one D1 skill position player on the field since 2015. That will win you some games that you shouldn’t sometimes.

    .

He finished with 33 receptions for 697 yards and 8 touchdowns. He really came on in the second half of the season. Over his last 6 games 543 yards and 7 touchdowns. he also had 3 interceptions on defense.
  19. https://www.facebook.com/nmhshuskies/videos/5191408860874635/ Bluefield game stream ^^^
  20. Search “North Marion High School” on Facebook, they’re live streaming it. Pretty good quality
  21. Central’s Announcers are saying Boggs and Tester are both limping. Ridgeview had all the momentum and was hitting passes over the top
  22. Ridgeview 20 central 17 4:28 3rd
