What's not being talked about is, Why wasn't the Backyard Brawl Trophy on hand to be presented to the winner! Guess they thought it wouldn't change hands so they just left it in the trophy case.

It was more than just a parade for winning a game, this town is getting back to it's roots in community support which it has lacked for many years and has started making it's way back in the past 3 to 4 years. And yeah it was kind of a big deal to beat a team that has owned your ass for 20 to 30 now.

Close game, winner maybe decided by who has the ball last! On paper Tazewell is the better team, when's the last time we could say that? But Tazewell hasn't beat Richlands in 18 years and the game is at Richlands as well, when the last time Tazewell won there? I feel like this game is gonna be like the Regional Championship back in 07 or 08.

I agree, but if you remember four years ago, these same kids were getting taken out behind the woodshed by everyone, it's a little redemption time that's all!

I've bitched about the late score before when Richlands would against Tazewell, really was just to stir the pot, but why would send you J.V. players out there and tell them not to try to score?
