I wasn't talking about any of the coaches the last time I checked. I never said it was anyone at Holston's fault that the stadium hasn't been updated. I just said that the facilities weren't up to VSHL standards to host that game. Clintwood does have the seating and the proper visitor bathrooms etc. Having at E & H will probably be an advantage for JIB. They have played on an artificial surface numerous times before. I think that the schedule Burton plays will be better served for them in a tight game. By the way smart guy last time I checked coaches don't make plays, players do. You could have brought Bear Bryant back from the grave and Battle wouldn't have won many games in certain years.

Good grief...it can't be played at Holston because they don't have the facilities to host a state semi game. There are certain criteria that must be met set by the VHSL. I figured that such a great football person would know that. Anyway, I can give my opinion about the party being over if I choose to do so. I will eat crow if I am not right...or falcon for that matter.

First, I would like to extend my congrats to these two young men on an outstanding season. Second, you are killing me. Both of these young men are good talents, make no mistake about it; however, neither of them are Div 1 material. I think that they would be better served to try and help at a place like E & H or UVA Wise. Third, I think that the Cavs get their second straight Region C title. Enjoy it for one more week and the party is over.

You all were lucky to have had GW help you all out in that game. It could have been much worse had the Maroons not have turned it over as much as the did. Congrats on another great year. It will soon get derailed again. None the less, it was a great season for Holston and it will end again soon. Better look out for EM again!

Pointman probably played for Holston when they would win only one or two games a year. Here is the question of the day! How will Holston be once all of the seniors and juniors are gone! Don't give me anything about how good the little cav football program is either. That doesn't mean much around here at all.
