  1. Good job and Good luck as you face the Region C champ next week.
  2. your web browser may play it if not just open it up with powerpoint. it's a ppt file i think.
  3. That it was your first jamboree. And with all that was going on it was pretty good. I think it is great what you guys are doing for the area youth not just one school but all involved. Yeah the lines at the food places were a bit long, but the turnout was unreal. The pictures yeah a little crazy but you're dealing with 4 to 12 yr olds who knows what can happen. And the PA I kinda thought that might be the deal. I would say do it again! It was a great atmosphere. Maybe double the concessions or at least add another vendor. Get a T Shirt Maker there and sell some kinda BACKYARD BRAWL - 2009! With team colors for each area. :) The officiating yeah was loose, but how many of those youngns were just learning. I hope I did not sound too overly critical, I think it was all awesome. And with having 4 teams on the field at a time, you always had some action. NONSTOP FOOTBALL. It's Awesome! Keep up the good work!
  4. First one I had been too since I played years ago. It was great to see kids out there playing if they wanted to. If they did'nt the coach just let em set over to the side. I don't know how it normally goes but the officiating was really loose at times especially away from the ball, but that's always gonna be the case. Consecions were crazy you guys need some more vendors there and the PA system needs hooked up. Was this your first Jamboree? If so not a bad job. If it's the fifth still not a bad job. Either way just a few fine tuning things and it's great. Good job.
  5. it could also have been people seeing those "stupid" soccer markings. They seem to be a little different position on the field than on Honakers or I just seen it wrong. Anyway I thought that was bs, but had not been on anyboard or talked to anyone that really knew. Thanks for your clarification!
  6. But, when I went to watch the Midget League Football Jamboree, all I could see was soccer markings. I had heard that someone had done donuts on the field. If it was true they fixed it before those games! Looks good, although the shade of blue is lighter than what Richlands wears. Still it's very nice!
  7. I have heard that the 5A model is more likely, especially after the VHSL split the basketball into divisions. I too believe this is the best arrangement for all involved.
  8. [ QUOTE ] Well I think they will win four, so I picked Honaker over Holston, don't know how good Honaker is. [/ QUOTE ] Nice logic there! LOL!
  9. It may be tough on the coaches due to not having enough personel. That school was around 1000, that's a pretty good size pool to draw talent from. We have a few that are close but not in immediate SWVA. You are gonna have to have 2 quick and quick thinking QBs since there is no protection. They need to be accurate with passing and need good hands to throw to. And where will we put all of our good ole linemen? Those guys all looked skinny! LOL. Would not surprise me to see it in the near future though.
  10. In the BHC when they reported on the Baseball VHSL All Star game they stated that he would be attending SVCC. Don't know if anything has changed since then, but you'd think he could get somn in either football or baseball. Tremendous athelete and really nice kid.
  11. How have they done? I seen where Richlands is winning in Big League soft ball and heard that Honaker's 11/12 yr old girls won the state tourney and will now travel to FL to play regionals!
  12. Keep ya head up kid, it was prob based on something else. Sounds like your stats were pretty sound. Should have at least warranted an honorable mention. Good luck in college!
  13. Lebanon, if they come with the intensity they are capeable of! Good Luck to both teams! Should be a great one.
  14. I say Lee or Abingdon. With the nod to Lee. Seems like Abingdon was hit or miss a whole lot more.
