Although its always easier said than done, Graham just needs to contain the QB and hit him hard on every play, regardless if he has the ball or not and maybe even on timeouts.

They embarrased the Devils last year, but the Devils kept shooting themselves in the foot. The result might be the same, but I'm sure the Devils would love another shot at them. Hopefully the GMEN will put them in their place come Sept. All I can say is look for a very cocky coaching staff and team when they arrive.

Thanks for posting the results for us. How did the GC vs Richlands game go? From some of the parents of the Blue Devils, sounds like they were about spent by that game as I'm sure the rest of the teams were as well. Sounds like a good showing by both clubs anyways.

Powell Valley & Gate City

Playing the first game against Richlands at Richlands will be a tough task for the young Devils. Hopefully it will be good hard fought battle.

I believe Richland's 7 on 7 tournament starts today, can someone post how the teams look and make out? Gate City I believe is playing in it with some of their underclassmen and I'm not sure who else is. Thanks.

GC 20 Richlands 14

The Gate City/Powell Valley jamboree will be August the 18th, probably at GC if the field is in shape. If not, it will be at Powell Valley again the same as last year. Christiansburg and Lebanon will be the other two teams.
